I have a very annoying sound coming from the rear axle.. that needs attending to.. among other things.. Great to be back at the Visa!

Lovely to see those light details and even bodywork to make it fit.
Record suspension in France, have shock absorbers & suspension kit for the Visa GTI
Such a cool GTi, must be great fun to drive.
Really cool car. It may not be a “true Citroën design” (I’d say the last one was the CX GTi Turbo) but it’s something I’d love to own, wish they could be found in America where I live nowadays.
Speak to GAZ here in the UK, past masters on providing stuff for old classics and helpful chaps too when it comes to shocks what they don't know isn't worth writing about :D
Before brexit GAZ would have been a really good option, but now. Not so much.
thanks!
@@SeasideGarage ps. Fantastisk bra kanal.
@@tho4747 tak!!
Nice looking car
Regarding the rear shocks try looking for a Yugo Sana which this car under the badge .
Maybe ask the bilstein support if they have an ideo for your visa dampers.
Overall this looks a decent car, to have fun with on you country roads
Love the car. What are you using for surface rust under the car, to prevent it spreads.
Hi i think your back shocks are the same as my Peugeot 104S rear shocks.., Thanks!!
Yea could be!.. :)
I believe there may be bilstein OEM replacements for the visa gti. I would search for them at the usual suspects. They are the "sports" dampers for 205 and 206 and corresponding citroen models I bleieve visa to. But I don't know since I don't have a reg number. But Autodoc seems to have a few options. Not cheap but good quality.
Autdoc does not have anything for the visa on the rear.... still searching. :)
The rear subframe of a 205 is totally different.
Keeping things in suspense there... :P
Seppo just so you know ? You left your lights on 😁, don’t wanna come back to a flat battery 🪫, your welcome 😂👌🏻
ha!

Be carefull, If those shocks are twin tube one, they should not be operated horizontaly or upside down…
Can't you use suspention parts from a Peugeot 205GTI 1.6L ? Isn't it basically the same platform?
Prøv Jennum Auto i Jylland. De har mange Citroen-reservedele på lager til ældre modeller.
Why don't you use penetrating oil ¿?
I do!... but if I do not have time to let it soak I don't... I do not think it makes a difference unless it soaks for at least a couple of hours... :)
In the meantime, drive it with weight in the boot, maybe 80kg.
Coil overs?
If approved, I might go that way... needs TUV papers though..
Cheepskate !!
? they are unavailable? no longer produced...
Seems like Citroën used to do some interesting designs and cars. Somewhere along the line, they dropped the ball though, and are now making unattractive boring cars that scream pensioner.
Peugeot influence. They became a huge group. So the money men resisted.
Citroen is no more😢 today you can only have a Peugeot with a Citroen badge 👎
En smuk bil jeg er misundelig
There's a reason Visa are gone from roads some decades ago but C15 are still alive everywhere (at least on production countries, Spain and France)... time to make C15 GTI? Can't remember a Citroën Visa owner that not changed to a newer and much better car... too much nostalgia is a condition, also there is a point a "collection" becomes a "junkyard". Is nice though to see a Visa GTI and nicer to see some (rich?) french car's lover to make for a Dakar Classic or rally car tribute out of one... but some cars just dissapeared from earth and did not move to some distant african country because reached end of life... there were cooler Citroën before and after...
It turns out that opinions are different from individual to individual... its very groundbreaking news... but its true...
@@SeasideGarage groundbreaking or hearthbreaking? didn't mean to be rough, but is like Lancia Delta Integrale, too much overhyped, cool recalls to remember some glory racing days, but LAncia's were a nightmare to own even for most appreciative owners... there was a time when changes were made for good and yu could feel no remorse no improve upon the same principles... but keep up with your entertaining videos...
