I’m 22 right now and I have a progressive neurological disorder. I’m having a pretty hard time seeing my peers who are going ahead with their lives (getting married, not living at home, working), while I spend most of my time working on independence skills, doing PT and OT, and resting from these activities. I feel left behind. --- At the time of your injury, how did you deal with the fact that your peers may have been achieving life goals while you were working on adjusting to a new lifestyle?
@@paralifetv-youreverydaywhe8314 ok .... I feel a huge down side to my dad's depression was due to ALL the meds for the phantom pains . I was wondering if u got those pains or still get them , so they ever go away? N how did u deal with getting off all the meds ? Now theres a real question for ya lol
What are your views on electric wheelchairs? I have been debating on getting one. Right now I use a custom made wheelchair. Thank you for being an inspiration for us wheelchair users. You always make everything look easy and have helped me overcome my fears of being in a chair. Thank you
