He also says he believes Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger is "corrupt" and that he used his power to get rid of his enemies like former CFO ( Chief Financial Officer) Christine McCarthy last year.

Razism on this level is a crime against humanity.
I know many great people who work at Disney who are being held back and limited in their positions when their CEO supports rampant discrimination. It is so wrong on so many levels. I still love the Disney dream and want the company to succeed but they need to clean up their act and just treat people as individuals.

Yes he is! The Disney I knew and loved is long gone. No longer is it a family friendly entertainment company who just put out family friendly movies and shows. They now have an agenda to meet and inject ideology into their movies to meet a standard. Whether that be having gay or transgender characters in their movies or shows. What’s crazy is that we all see how well Inside Out 2 is doing at the box office. It had the best opening weekend. And now is the highest grossing movie of 2024 and is not even done! It still has around 90s left at the theaters. It’s easily going to cross $1 billion dollars. It’s doing insanely well, but do you know why? It’s because it’s a good movie with a good story and likeable characters. There wasn’t any drama surrounding this movie or anything negative that upset audiences. If you just make a good movie with good characters, people will go to the theater and support you!!

James mission isn't to get them arrested because he doesn't have that power, what his goal is to shine the out on criminal behavior and unlawful practices so larger networks or larger players can look into the issue and plan accordingly.
Good ol' Bob, and the entire board, needs to be brought up on charges. There was already more than enough uncovered when the RCID was dissolved and CFTOD installed. Now, there's hard proof of blatantly illegal hiring practices. The sooner the whole crew can go, the sooner Disney can be restored to the trusted family brand with which I grew up.

This practice is throughout the industry and not a shock, D just got aired out and they will recover. Paramount has been doing this also outright as my bf (art director), was told by his leader they were only bringing in ppl of color, therefore no promotion. Lawsuit was filed and as usual, Paramount settled and the same dysfunction is still active in the office. Ohhh I know of so many DEI stories in Hlwd - It's all just very sick AF!
What stands out to me in this case… is that the entire board of directors is composed of individuals who are elderly and outdated, and they have been failing for years. If investors believe that these individuals should lead the company during these excessively dynamic times, in terms of technology but with a straightforward global audience, then they are gravely mistaken as well.

Most companies track DEI stats these days. They all have some sort of survey where people can self-identify as some sort of minority.

Recommend looking the book up. I also recommend not talking too much on the topic, even as a joke. Its not a joke to CZcams. Most people didn't believe the reason why Gina was fired. However, sometimes it's best to take reasons at face value. It's also a topic that will keep coming up if current conditions countine. It's best for any thinking person to have some thoughts about it, in quiet and private, and have something rational at the ready besides nervous laughter.
I would gladly take Iger's place as CEO of The Walt Disney Company. I will bring the company back to its original non-SJW glory in films, TV shows, games, and theme parks. Oh yeah, and we'll stop remaking earlier films, and I'll sell the Muppets, Pixar, Marvel Entertainment, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Fox back to their original owners.

@WaltRight Wrong. Most Disney projects are miniscule in creativity under Iger. He's uncomfortable when something creative is released. Eisner respected creativity more than Iger. Besides, Iger sabotaged Mary Poppins Returns in 2018 because it has 2D animation, and he does not trust 2D theatrical animation these days. He has also been buying stuff, which hurts the company's creative side, turning Disney into a big bank that buys stuff. His biggest mistake in acquisition is buying 20th Century Fox - he recently admitted that he made a dud there, for it has racked up mountains of debt.

Well, the diversity spreadsheet recording information about race, sexuality, and so on of everyone involved in a project seems to be a requirement in order for a movie to be elegible for competing in the Oscars, according to their new rules. It is quite obvious to me that those rules are incentivizing exactly this kind of thing.

You have to admit that having a spreadsheet that says you have to include all races of people is not the same as a policy that says you cannot include anyone from a specific race of people.
One of the real reasons DEI policies are problematic is that race is subjective. Membership in a race is not an objective, quantifiable thing.
