The 1990s CRs are my favorite bikes. I just love the raw sound they make. None of the newer 2 smokers ever sounded like them
love the colors of that era. almost an orange, florescent red
Honda called it " Flash Red" used from 83-91, minus the Blood red years of 88-89
I love old bikes, i personally think they look better and also they were way more natural, more brutal and you rely had to be in good physical conditions too haha
I bought a 1990 CR125 last fall. I love it. I don't race, I just use it in the woods.
Love the extended test ride, need more of those...had the exact same bike used to race at englishtown n.j
1988 to 1993 are my favorite years of the cr /i miss my young days of having my 1988 honda cr80r that bike was a little rocket
1987, 1990, and 1993 in my book
I rode a 87 CR 80 in 89, holy cow that thing flew. I was riding a 86 KX 125 at the time. Much respect for the little guys hanging on to that mini monster.
whats wrong with the 94 cr?i have one,it looks the same as a 93
I absolutely love those 90s Honda's. They really built a bike to beat then.
I found one on Facebook, it doesn’t turn but it’s all there (everything is on it) looks like it’s in good shape but there’s obviously wear on the frame, does this indicate a lot of ride time? Also, he said it’s bone stock (motor hasn’t been touched) is this a bad thing for one this old?
@@nalyd6386 no not necessarily, the only thing I'd be worried about is the frame. But if the frames alright then I'd get it.
@@jasoncarskadon6809 it’s posted for a thousand, it doesn’t run and he claims that it needs a chain and a carburetor rebuild. Both simple things to do but it could need a lot more than that 🤔
@@nalyd6386 that's true, but if you really want it you should take a look at it.
@@jasoncarskadon6809 alright I might do that, I’d like to offer 500, I don’t think something like that is worth any more than that if it doesn’t run and it’s fairly old so who knows what’s wrong, is there anything to look for when looking at it?
Send it Jr! Beautiful bike, with the style Seat and Gas tanks, that I like the most, so I can sit in the pocket, make me feel like I have more control of the bike, but I'm getting the feel of the GasGas more and more, from riding it in the neighborhood, until I can go ride it in the dirt. I wish that I could walk out my house door, jump on my dirtbike, and ride it everyday like You and Your Dad do. The closest place to ride is about 40 minutes from my house, and where I live.
Nice CR 125. My 89' KX 125 had the same frame geometry as the KX 500 as well. These old school bikes are sweet.
He sure can make that 125 sing a bit! Good sounding bike, miss that on the track.
Nice unmolested example of Honda greatness. Just so happen to be restoring the same bike this year for my channel. Hopefully it runs and looks as good as this one.
Holy crap, nice channel! Sub
Sweet little track for testing/demo’s 👍
We got the 1993 and she looks as it was just built.Runs great
Hell yeah one of the best looking CRs there is!
I had an 89 cr125. Had a lot of trouble it though....constantly leaking coolant, then the stator went, and clutch felt like shit. Snappy little beast when it was running!
So crisp!
What do you use on the plastics for that shine?
Ive been building a 90 cr125 for the past 6 months and have some great aftermarket internals and milled head for this bad boy. Now i know what to expect just from a stock motor!
@@nalyd6386 with stuff this old your going to have do a complete engine rebuild. Even if everything is there you can uae the fact that is doesnt run to talk them down.
I had a '93...loved that bike
I’m restoring a 90 cr125 . I enjoyed this video thanks for posting
Jesus ! What a machine. ! A++ !
Which side to buy the part from
That building is insane. Is part of it abandoned? What was it originally??
Just to leave another comment rode 87 500 for ten years way to old for another 62 to be real but I see you guys riding these125s and have an 87 cr 125 just rebuilt almost scared to ride as I only have seven toes left from my 500 but so be it will be sent keep rolling and ride red can't lose D.h

Last fall I bought a 1990 CR125 with a motor rebuilt by a Honda motorcycle mechanic for $1100. I like it very much. I imagine you must like your 250 if I like the 125.
