The one w/ Earth song is from 1996 Brit Awards. I just looked it up & the the guy that lifted up his shirt is from a band called the Pulp. He basically snuck on stage during MJs performance
And the towel part was because Michael's shoes were too slippery so his stylist (if I'm not wrong) was told by Michael, to put a towel on the floor so that Michael could wipe the bottom of his shoes down otherwise, he could slip.
The part at 04:08 basically Michael was performing Earth Song in the UK at some event (can't remember the event) and basically there were people in the crowd that didn't take his performance seriously so the guy went on the stage and basically interrupted the performance making fun of Michael. When they interviewed the man that went on stage the next day he basically said along the lines of "Michael must think he's God", and that he didn't take Michael's performance seriously so he decided to go on stage and do what he did to be funny. I'll never forget that because it was all over the British News.

I just think back to the HIStory Tour moment where the curtain never came back up for Smooth Criminal and they were fumbling trying to get it down and they performed the whole song behind the curtain. I think the HIStory Tour had the most tech fails out of every MJ tour.
The part when the other woman that was doing the duet with him, she was singing Micheal part, when they were looking for Michael during the earth song the part when he go up ,what happened is the bridge he gets on malfunction , it fell to the ground, they were panicking because they couldn't see him, but could hear him singing he was at the bottom of the stage, but manage to get back up on the stage, they said after he finished that part when he walked back stage he collapsed, if you remember when he had mentioned that he had to take medication due to him hurting his back on tour during one of his performance. There one time he had to go tell them to put towels out because the floor was wet, and another time for them to get a bug off of stage but didn't want them to kill it, sherreta Garrett was always joking around with Michael on stage that probably why she was posing like that, one time she came out with a blonde wigs to make him laugh.
Awsomeness as usual. Lil bit as im watching, brad my main man lol brad had to take over towards end of dangerous tour for greg philligans who think got sick so im sure those moments were probably his first couple shows. He had no issues on history tour which he was band leader from start to finish. Also mike messing up lyrics happen more than ya think lol he's human it happens but on like dirty diana on bad tour he almost always screws up the end of the verse going into the first chorus lol

This frontman from the band Pulp was protesting MJ's performance calling it ''distasteful'', but while he was running back & forth on the stage, he had bumped into a few of the kids onstage.....so if anything he was just coming off as an a--hole!

5:17-5:22 the towel was there cause the stage had been rained on the night before. so it was soaking wet and hard to get any traction when the floor is wet and dangerous.

Someone already explained most of it, but the guy on stage during Earth Song was Jarvis Cocker, who is a British performer. who decided to be a wank because he claimed he was offended that Michael was being 'Christ like' in his performance. But he also said it wasn't against Michael personally, just his performance, and claimed to be a fan of Michael's. What he did is actually quite infamous.
the towels were to dry the stage as fast as possible so mike didn't slip. sometimes a towel would be left if Michael steps into the unsheltered part of the stage so when he went back to the main stage he'd have something to dry his shoes instead of trailing water everywhere which would have caused not only mike to slip but also back up dancers, crew, cameramen, etc
Nice reaction guys, the back singer wasn’t Siedah was another one which I don’t know the name seems like she sang his part and after Brad didn’t end the song in time he kept playing that is way Michael tell him what is he going to do. Most of this stuff wasn’t his errors per say they are more like little accidents beyond his control. But I think he totally enjoyed every bit and laugh at the mistakes. Except for the back singer she didn’t lasted long in that tour. Cheers guys and love from Australia ♥️.
