  • - This is the third Electrotherapy lecture in the Electrotherapy II course targeting second year students, spring semester in the Faculty of Physical Therapy, Benha University, Egypt.
    In this lecture, we discuss the following items in the Principles of Electrical Stimulation: -
    1. Physiologic response to electrical stimulation
    2. Physiological and therapeutic effects of electrical stimulation
    3. Contraindications and precautions of electrical stimulation
    4. Clinical application steps
