Excellent! So proud that the Chattanooga Fire Department continues to support our courageous Firefighters by providing innovative apparatus and equipment to utilize in the protection of life and property in our city. Congratulations to Squad 13 on the arrival of your new rig.

@@donkey-xd9fh How to tell where someone is from in the US: Ask them what a Squad Company is.
Fun facts for you: In New England, the Mid-Atlantic and Appalachia (where Chattanooga is), a Squad Company is a multipurpose manpower company capable of engine, truck and technical rescue work, depending on the needs of the Incident Commander.
In the Southwest, West and some parts of the South, a Squad Company is a 2 man light rescue truck or ambulance used for emergency medical response.
In the Midwest and other parts of the South (Michigan, Ohio, ect.) a Squad Company is a rescue company who preforms technical rescue operations, and in some departments may respond to minor medical emergencies.
In the Plains States, a Squad company is...well whatever they want it to be. Plains states departments are weird.
In this case, within Chattanooga Fire, a Squad Company uses the New England definition and is a multipurpose manpower company that, within its 1st due district serves as an engine, but may otherwise serve as a rescue company on calls inside or outside its district depending on the IC's needs.

@@donkey-xd9fh How to tell where someone is from in the US: Ask them what a Squad Company is.
Some fun facts for you: In New England, the Mid-Atlantic and Appalachia (where Chattanooga is) a Squad Company is a multipurpose manpower company that is capable of engine, truck and technical rescue work and will be assigned to specific duties in those fields based on the needs of the Incident Commander.
In the Midwest (Michigan and the surrounding states), Northwest and some parts of the South, a Squad Company is a rescue company assigned to technical rescue duties and may, depending on the department SOPs, also respond to minor medical emergencies alongside a Medic unit.
In other parts of the South, the Southwest and West, a Squad Company is a 2-4 man company assigned to a light rescue truck or ambulance and responds to medical calls.
In the Plains States, a Squad Company is....well whatever they want it to be. The Plains States are weird.
In this case, within Chattanooga Fire, Squad Company's like Squad 13 fall under the New England Squad Company concept, and serve as multipurpose manpower companies who operate as engines inside their 1st due district, but otherwise operate as technical rescue companies on all other calls within or without their district.
