I am a huge Zach Bush fan and have learned so much from all presentations. I also have such respect and admiration for the "way" he teaches and educates on such topics about human health and how the toxic environment has put us over the tipping point. But in THIS presentation at the one hour mark - Zach talks directly to the Mary Taylor with Monsanto about how he would love to hire her for her expertise and have her redirect to help change the course of the toxins in our food. The way Zach Bush shows grace to those who used as pawns by a very toxic system (Monsanto- Dupont etc) is more than humbling. These ordinary peoples names will be on the documents showing the harm these toxins present. "They" use ordinary people to take the public outrage while the CEO's from these death companies walk around carefree without anyone knowing who they are. Zach, I hope you can start the shift for these employees to do some soul searching and shift to work with you and others - we need the brightest to help you in your quest to bring real health back to all of us.

660 ft (an eighth of a mile) is a surveyor's dimension equal to 10 "chains". A chain is 66 ft. For rectangular crop plots it would be easy for a farmer to measure 10 chains to find the width for the spraying barrier. A rectangle that is 10 chains long by 1 chain wide is equal to an acre (43,560 sq.ft.). Hence by knowing the perimeter of the reduced crop plot and adding in 10 acres (10 chains x 10 chains =100 sq. chains =10 acres) for each corner (40 acres total) one knows rather quickly and simply (mathematically speaking) how many acres of crop are lost to the barrier (ie. perimeter in chains + 40). Of course the whole premiss of defining a ground based barrier strip around a crop plot to control aerosolized poisons is much like having a peeing section in a swimming pool defined by the lane markers painted on the pool bottom.

I was born with ideas what Dr. Zach Bush spread and such inormous joy to listen it put in science and philosophical frame. I am so hopless where to start to make real changes based on these ideas. Farmers destroying land mercilessly for shortsited proffits. Ecological ideas turned down because of too little money and too difficult to work that way. Environment ideas meaningless to them.. and sadly one of such farmers gives me survival by using my land by destroying nature. I need certain plan, step by step where to start. Does any trying to do something to change things around them in local community?. Local newspaper already refused to publish such a great thoughts..

He gave a great tip for farmers, if they experience council/coorperation issues, to get everything out to You in writing, it then gives you at least two weeks.
