Using the “Game Over” scene as a nightmare was absolute perfection… also was a good way to further introduce Mumbo as a character
'Wow, I don't care...' 😂 That moment and Banjo punching the honeycomb hut made me laugh!
1:35 this was so on point with Kazooie's character it made me laugh louder than it should've

Yep. That practically sums up Kazooie's attitude about other people's requests that don't benefit her so well, it's hilarious! 😂 And almost scary when you think about it......😅
I really like your decision to make the Game Over screen a nightmare Banjo is having! It makes so much more sense than in the actual game
It makes the whole “save and quit thing is a game over” thing make sense: Banjo had to give up that day and had a nightmare over the worst-case scenario. But he would be back to try again, thus the lack of punishment.

I wish the save and quit had a cutscene similar to what happened here and instead of just getting this game over cutscene, you get the consequences of your failure along with Banjo waking up from a nightmare and Kazooie telling him that they need to go keep going. Then they continue on with the caption to be continued......on screen. In my opinion, that would've been so much better than just getting a game over cutscene because I feel like you're essentially being punished for not finishing the game in one go. (٥↼_↼)
This is amazing, it just gets better and better :D The Game Over being a nightmare is a great idea. I personally adore the jinjos, so seeing one already, and with a bit of dialogue, really puts a smile on my face. (Good on them saving themselves, too.) The Bokoblin horn for the Grublins, nice XD And topping it off with Mumbo riding Bigbutt, now there's a visual. I do wonder how he'll end up being BK's ally... can't wait for the next one!
This game over thing planted a seed in my childhood mind that grew into a very weird kink as an adult about going from ugly to bombshell lol
I was thinking this was a straight retelling of the game, but it looks like you're taking some creative liberties here. Very interesting!
