- Before moving on to a new Webtoon, I wanted to talk about one character that I glossed over before, let's talk about the Headmaster of Wellston himself, and discuss what he’s planning.

That guys job must be hell. Worrying about students fighting on the daily, the constant destruction of property, dealing with authorities, and dealing with fucking hormonal teenagers with superpowers.
Something tells me he's a god tho. The simple fact that he can push back the authorities to this extent must mean his ability level is really high, higher than Seraphina's for a fact

@@vladzorescu9426 I doubt John is stronger. Everytime they speak he displays no fear or uneasiness toward him, and he bosses him around quite easily.
Seraphina may as well jump in on the cause, too. She, like John, has been on both sides of the hierarchy. She's even gone to the extent of making friends with some low-tiers. With a more open perspective, the possibility of rallying Arlo and the others (with help from Remi) is pretty good.
And maybe if she gets her powers back she can balance John out
But the difference is she went backwards not forwards.

Infiltrate EMBER or NexGen and get some answers or a clue at the very least.
@@3dsmaster537 agreed I think that is a logical next step for him but right now he is dissociating from reality so he's not much use to anyone.Then theirs the possibility her powers might come back on her own as well
Seraphina Is Like John But More Calm And Strategical
John isn't a bad person, and it isn't his fault. He's acting like this because of the influences people/society have had on him. He grew up with hierarchy, thinking his title as king was something to be proud of, but after expulsion and rehab, he came back with a (possible) case of PTSD.
The book, Unordinary, is very important to John, and is the reason he acts as a cripple. He wants to see which people use their powers for others, but only sees them doing the same things he had done, using them for pride and to put others in 'their place.'
John is looking for a hero, who will save them, tell society hierarchy is wrong, and use their powers for 'good'
The reason he calls others worthless and trash is not because of their powers, but the way they use their powers for strength and defining themselves with it.
Elaine is a great example. When she meets John, the only thing she cares about is his powers. Finding out he has 'none', her face immediately changed into anger and she called John disgusting. People like that have nothing to offer, unlike the hero in the book.
The book wasn't looking for superhero's either.
Headmaster is also a man who is aware of the book and the message it gives. I feel he is happy to accept John into the school, but disappointed he's hiding his powers. Instead of suspending John for beating the crap out of every high-ranker, he simply gives him a warning. (Which, to no one's surprise, John ignores.)
Headmaster is a man who holds hope in John, thinking John is the possible hero who helps the community in the book. But John is holding back from using his powers because of that. John thinks if you can't use your powers for good, it's not useful. It's the very reason he never used his powers to fight back, simply because if he did, he would be fighting for himself.
John isn't a selfish character, and I feel Headmaster plays a bigger role than we think he does.

I still wouldn't say that excuses his brutality. The dude went overboard and constantly lies. Some of these lies are what lead to him getting hurt by others. What Elaine did when they first met was bi*chy but it's all totally on him when he decides to put his hands on her to abuse her.

Having a clearer look on his backstory, I can agree his cruel actions of trying to destroy hierarchy is terrible, and I feel he could have done it in a much better way, perhaps without violence (or at least without as much)
Yeah I like your theory with the headmaster and I don’t blame John either for acting the way he did, a lot of people say that John Is horrible or whatever but imagine being really weak and bullied by society because you weren’t born with something and then suddenly being stronger than most. most people would probably act similar to John or even worse.

Ember would probably win, given John doesn't have any powers at the beginning at the fight. They're probably used to fighting people with a disadvantage.
KR I think John would win since he’s good at hand to hand combat and when ember activates their ability he is most likely to use it and amplify it (which is most likely possible since I estimate john’s score to be 8+ by now) then he can combine abilities (depending on how much members he is fighting) also use his hand to hand combat skills and most likely win

@common viewer yes it is quite obvious that the headmaster van is against the structure but if it is so then why is he allowing for similar hierarchy in this video he did mention that perhaps h.m van is against it but wait what if headmaster van is the boss of ember think about it this would make sense the reason he killed some of his own students is to not draw suspicion to him or his school why is he allowing for john to keep rampaging reply if you agree or if you have a argument against my theory
You know I always had a thought of what if The headmaster was with ember or was the head of ember. it does make sense tho He doesn't want anything with the authorities which can seem a bit suspicious

Maybe the headmaster wants John to stay because John plays a bigger part of the story that we don't know yet. At least that's my theory
I HIGHLY doubt Arlo's gonna join. Because to ME, he's just a strong guy that'll ride the hierchy's DICK, ALL DAY EVERYDAY!

If John doesn’t use his ability, is he just like the average weakling? (Except he can fight) Or is he still strong in his ability less state?
There were multiple times where John punched Arlo in the face but Arlo wasn’t fazed by it. Is John just like everyone else in low tier when he doesn’t use his ability?
Vicariously Visceral he’s physically strong compared to most of the students, but that’s due to his training and such. Other than that he had no extended strengths without his ability.

Arlo is the main garbage he re-established such a crappy system that makes low tiers feel agony rei is just like john but when we get rid of the king arlo and remi can take over and make the school better

Ever since I first learned of Vaughn, I wondered what his ability level was. I've got 2 guesses, either it's extremely high, or he doesn't have one, and is so good at everything, that nobody knows. Those are my thoughts, idk.
Uru has stated his is infact a high tier, we just don't know exact level or ability.
It'd be weird if a crippled having to run a school and he's even not afraid of the authority so he's definitely a high tier. If a school is having a hierarchy problem then the jobs or political must have bigger problems.

I wish we would see more of the headmaster because there are some really interesting moments with him as well as some without. The next season will probs do that, considering how they’re starting to wrap up the Ember arc as well.

I agree. I think Vaughn saw what Rei did to try to end a hierarchy, force high-tiers and low-tiers to get along, and saw that it failed after he left. Vaughn realizes if he stepped into end the hierarchy in Wellston, the students wouldn't learn anything. They would just return to the hierarchy after graduation. He wants them to learn on their own so that it makes more of an impact on how they enter the world.

Headmaster Vaugn probably wanted John to enact his plan to make everyone Joker. He wanted John to make everyone feel in a sense, equal. I guess that Syndrome quote somewhat applies "Once I make everyone Super, no one will be." Vaugn: "Once everyone has had a little taste of fear maybe they won't be so bold enough to keep destroying my school... And assault each other there's that too."

The Headmaster is probably tge most intimidating character in the series. This guy can even scare of the authorities. I still wanna know what level he is and his ability.

Your not crazy, that defiantly is his game only most lack or are just realizing they're means to reflect on the situation, the schools best chance at revolution is so emotionally dependent on one person that he'd rather live a peaceful illusion, rather than forgiving himself or accepting the past, and let his colors mesh into something workable! While the crowd just disavows him for giving them a taste of they're own medicine for holding back while getting ruthlessly assaulted day in and out for sheer asinine reasons and over reactions to mostly justifiable actions! personally i think john has to apologize to Remi, Sera, and his childhood bro back in new Boston. While deescalating with Isen, Blake, Ventus, Mili, Cecilie (if an epiphany is to be had), and the low tears to build up his forces, while a good chunk of the rest u can just forget, for no existing anti toxin maybe able to save them from the cool aid they've drunk. Though something tells me john may loose what little faculties he has left, and send the school back to square 1, while being carted back to an unjust Hell though this time it maybe entirely of his own making if the adults don't knock some sense into the lot of them!!!
i have a feeling the authority is helping ember otherwise they wouldn't ban unOrdinary just because it's making people want to fight for what's right and the authority would've done something about ember too

I'm not entirely sure that your praise for Vaughn's "respect towards his students" is as justified as you might think considering that so far we've only had the chance to see such respect be extended towards high-tier students such as Seraphina which are a group of students/people that are generally considered to 'matter' more. In other words he might just be kinda biased. Show me some examples of him acting the same way towards some of the low-tier students and then maybe I'll be convinced.
I don't know. I think he's really powerful. He's a principal at Wellston. It's natural for him to be strong. Not to mention that he has the upper hand among everyone. He's the principal, meaning that even the highest of highest tiers that are in his school have to listen to him.
Well he really praised remi's brother as a leader. And king. Remis brother encouraged more equality and respect. And the headmaster praised him and called him superb.
@@kellharris2491 I mean high tiers like Rei are hard to come by. Not to mention that he changed the entire schools philosophy, which probably no student ever did. He might not be as strong, but Rei was a really gifted student and that's probably why the headmaster likes Rei
@@vronji who's to say for sure. I think one thing is interesting is he mentioned how john didn't conform to the political system having not grown up in it and how the headmaster said that that's why this school needed him. I think he does want some things to change.
@@kellharris2491 What if the headmaster was also a late bloomer? Surely a Cripple or a low tier wouldn't get far in the authorities even if he's super smart. He sees that the system needs changing but he wasn't able to do it, so he's relying on John and Seraphina to make a change because they experienced the same things that he experienced and know that the system needs to change.
I think the head master might be the strongest person we have seen, maybe with a power of 9

Golden Projects I’d argue that if he has an ability like a 9 it would be hard for John to one up him as there is a max (10) to a person’s certain ability’s. Could be wrong as we’ve never seen him use a god tier ability, unless he has used Seraphinas ability without her knowing.

I got a guess to what john wants the fake Jokers to do/become. I think that he doesn't stop them because he wants them to keep doing what they're doing. my guess to why is that he wants them all to start coming together under a banner. what's scarier than a fake joker, a whole army of fake jokers. this well starts a new Authority or Hierarchy that doesn't care who you are or what power level you may have all you have to do is put on the mask and you instantly become the hierarchy.

I can see it being something like absolute authority where students are not capable of using their abilities in his presence
John's role was to be the great equaliser. Before him everyone is weak. Headmaster hoped that John will have a bit more self control, but that wasn't the case. Its only thanks to Seraphina that John takes a final step to confronting his inner demons. And soon, he will become a better person.
