- Answering all of your questions about how I grew from 0 to 83K subscribers in a year and a half! It only took me 2 months to get my channel monetized - but then I only made $2-3 for the first several months of monetization, however, that has changed! I've learned a LOT and I'm sharing some of my tips and a little bit of my backstory on this video.

I really appreciate this video. As a small creator, I often get discouraged that my channel isn't growing quickly like so many others I watch. This gives me that little nudge that if I keep going, maybe...possibly...it could happen for me too. Thank you! ❤
I'm convinced that part "just keep going" really is one of the most important things! and also the hardest to do IMO!
@HopewellHeights so hard to push through when things are a struggle but that discipline definitely can be the difference in ordinary vs extraordinary. If it was 'easy', everyone would do it is my thought. ❤️

That story about 2020 was exactly how it was for us too. My husband is a surgeon and I am/was a surgical technologist. The outpatient surgery where I worked shut down because it was all elective procedures, and my husband agree to work putting in lines, and attending to the sickest people who needed surgery. It was a wild ride. I just never went back because at the time we were in NY and of course ✨things✨ were mandated. My husband took J&J and that was bad enough but I thank God that he didn’t take those other ones. And he never took anything else, nor will he going forward.
So funny thing is the first time I saw your channel was for the homemade laundry soap. It is brilliant. I was looking at woodash lye soaps and i found your channel. You're adorable and genuine, your voice is soothing and warming, and your channel is so wholesome. You embrace being a stay at home mom and its beautiful!
I respect your values as a Christian woman. I share your passions in my life. As I listened to this video, I heard something so good. You and your husband worked together to make a plan for paying off debt so you could be in person with family 100% of the time. I’d love to hear more about your trust/value in a marriage partnership. Well done young lady ❤ I see myself in you 15 years ago. I have no regrets in homeschool and providing an atmosphere where my children could thrive and grow into men and women of God.
I have been wanting to tell you I love your honesty, non fakeness your glasses and I love your dresses and bare feet!!!! Thank you for this video. I’m going to re-start my channel as I started in 2015 and did 6 videos and then my mama was diagnosed with dementia. I too was raised VERY catholic and took care of her until 2021, she left us on New Year’s Day 2021. I was a nurse too, worked for a bit and later on when it was over I was done too. I sent my daughter to college and now I’m an empty nester and now I have time. So I’m going to try again as I have so much to share. Your a doll happy new year 🎆 I will be using my phone at first lol
My biggest tip for using a phone would be lighting, just make sure you have good lighting! So excited for you!

I also am a cathlab nurse and certified health coach. No one can afford an independent health coach in my area however. I have had a market garden biz but that makes next to nothing monetarily. So I ended up working 2 full time jobs to do that and pay my household bills. My problem is I’m single and am struggling to figure out how to let go of the nursing job. Maybe one day the break through will come 😊 I’m glad to hear your story! Keep the videos coming!

Love it!!! I started creating lifestyle content after my son was born and quickly started to worry about showing too much on camera, especially of him, so I scaled back. I then started creating content just about Homebirth but it didn’t seem to be gaining much traction and like you, I worked many hours on one single video. That was enough for me to take a break and unfortunately, never come back. Maybe if I experienced a viral video like you had of, I would have but I’m just not sure where I fit into it all.
I’m super glad you were suggested to me. I rewatch your mayo recipe because it’s perfect. It’s the reason I started making mayo again especially after learning that my grocery store brand has a bioengineered ingredient in it. So thank you. Your recipe is delicious.

I appreciate this video so much! I can't put it into words. I've been feeling a little twinge or intuition pulling at me about staying home (I currently work 19 hours outside the home). We have 4 children and I homeschool. CZcams has felt very intimidating, but you are the one person who has now made me feel that it is doable. Obviously, it will take time and I must be patient. Nice video. The V mandate was the best thing that ever happened to me as a nurse, gave me an excuse to walk away from a toxic trash fire of a profession… I’d reached the point where they were offering $200/hr shifts and it wasn’t enough to keep me…. And now I’m a stay at home wife! Used my severance pay to pay off the last of our debt and hey presto, freedom ❤

I have taken so many brakes from CZcams just because I would lose inspiration but I’ve never taken this channel seriously enough to make it a business until a few months ago simply because I feel like I have the headspace for it now.
Please make more videos on this. Like helpful software or applications you use. How often to post? How did you learn to Edit your own videos?- Did you take a Class? What do you use for a Mic? What cameras and stands are you using now?

You can hire someone to do that if it bothers you! It doesn’t bother me at all, in fact,
sometimes when there is a really outrageous comment I show my husband and we laugh about it - people are nuts!
