Mk11 had more customization than any mortal kombat with being able to customize gear on the character? I’m not trying to antagonize but I’m curious what customization in other mortal kombats you miss?
@ZeRo Sn0w all we had was gear pieces. That looked the same but with different colors, we had some awful costumes for certain characters, we had the same costumes just different colors. The models looked the same on certain characters. Basically they kinda looked the same. The gear pieces were nice but I feel like the customization was a bit lacking since you couldn't change your characters dramatically. For example I wanted to customization Scorpion to have a hood on or off but if you want the hood off you had to pick a different costume set. Basically all you have it full sets of costumes the only thing you can change is your gear. I hope I'm making sense here and nah don't worry mate, you're not really antagonizing me. 👍
The gameplay remembers me KOF 2000 and Marvel vs Capcom 3, a little similar to MKX. Also influenced by Injustice 2 and the MK11 Towers of Time. Seems to be a little slower than MK11. I hope this not breaks the essence of MK.

Combo trials like all the anime fighting games, SF and KOF you mean. MK had character guides in MK11, I'm sure those will be in MK1. They may have their own open world thing like they have in the past like Konquest, but we'll see.

I don't know but it looks cartoonish and too much colourfull, maybe it is not completely polished but loved the character select and badass transition, in some points it looks great, I like Night and day switch for stages

Mortal Kombat is good for the gory death finishing moves but when it comes to in depth fighting games with better Mechanics, Street Fighter wins as I can't see this game beating the new Street Fighter 6 game.
Trailer got me so freaking hyped and definitely the level of visuals that could be implemented into the actual game. But these horrible graphics just screwed up my entire excitement . Not to mention kameo mechanics is NOT my thing and takes away from the game's unique fighting style. Not sure what people are getting all excited about. it's a FLOP. Total disappointment ! Last gen engine = last gen visuals. Instead of making it as dark and photo realistic as possible using UE5, they went with this silly, foolish looking style...so dissapointing !!!!!

Mk has always distinguished itself by its brutality, cruelty, but now what? have you seen this fatality? Didn't it seem to you somehow simple or even childish? Compare fatality from Mk x, 11 and it will be immediately on the face. Personally, my opinion is to see what happens from it, but it looks kind of rustic, like Ed Boon decided to roll back the graphics and cut down the money
