Wow i really wish i could get 2 of these inverterchargers but i could never afford them. I am disabled and unable to work anymore so I live on a very fixed income and I live in my 1967 GM TDH-4519 city transit bus full-time in the high desert of New Mexico. Lately I have been building my own batteries from Headway 38120hp cells but i only have enough cells for 300ah worth of 12 volt batteries and it's taking me 3 years to do that. But at least the batteries can start up the bus too

You really can’t beat these for van builds. Very efficient.

Yes, indeed! We look forward to comparing to Midnite Solar's new products and see how Victron holds up to the competition.

So would this be better for a 50amp fifth wheel than the mulitplus 2x120v? Trying to see what would be best inverter for our RV since we have a residential fridge and 2 rooftop ACs.

Only if you plan on running a generator onboard where you aren’t plugging it into the same plug as shore power

Also 2 rooftop ac may not be able to run off one inverter

@@daniellaney3946 so a double multiplus 2x120 would be best for 50amp coach?

@@stevenporter7969 if you run two in parallel then the minimum current apparently exceeds 15amps so if you ever plug into a regular outlet you won’t be able to anymore.
Trying to figure out how to wire in series if it’s possible

I have a MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-48 inverter running our converted bus, here in Australia (240VAC/50Hz)
Have you guys done a video that shows what settings I need to change, in the Multiplus, so that if our batteries drop below a certain percentage, the grid power will turn on, then turn off when battery power reaches 100%?
    Thanks for a great channel.

I'm a little confused after reading the specs. Will this inverter allow you to do PowerAssist on either AC Input? Considering using Input 2 for a separate 15A input for times when I want to plug the RV in at home or at storage and I'll only have 8 to 10 amps available. I could use a regular extension cord vs. having to wrestle the 50A cord and the adapters.
