I like refractors, they can look at deep sky objects and has some of the best features for picture quality, the only downside is that they cannot be collimated.
Dobsonians are also good and can be collimated.
Im starting to like refractors more and more, shame they are so expensive the large ones
@@universewonders1 yeah true
I think my next telescope is the heritage 150p, thanks mate 🙌❤️
For a beginner, is it worth to put a little more money and get the virtuoso 150p or will be fine with 130p.
Thank you!!
Small diference between the two, 130 is fine
Thank you!!
I am elderly and too feeble to handle a big telescope. I took up the hobby in August 2023 with a $300 U.S. and have purchased 16 telescopes since then at a cost of $9000. I am over budget.
I find the easiest to use is my SvBony sv305 80mm ED and a x0.8 reducer/corrector on my Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer GTi.
My most powerful and versatile is my Celestron 6" Schmidt Cessegrain on my Celstron CG-4 mount with an Astro-Gadget GO TO conversion kit with a x0.63 reducer/corrector and a HyperStar 6 v4.
I have an SvBony 705c (asi585) camera and an SvBony 405cc (asi294) camera.
I recommend taking up another hobby unless you want to spend a lot of money, time and bother. I stay up all night imaging and spend all day making repairs and doing maintenance.
Very nice.
Wow thats alot of telescopes! I like dobsonians but they get heavy pretty quickly and is very off putting especially when having to drag them around, sometimes the lighter setups are better because they get used more. You have the same cameras as me, the sv405cc and sv705c🙂
@@universewonders1 Every one said that my first telescope should be a Dobsonian and every one said that aperture was king. So, I bought a 10" Dobsonian. It was too heavy for me to drag into the back garden (and not so good for deep space astrophotography) so I gave it to a friend.
