- In this Parametric Building tutorial, I will teach you how to model a parametric facade in Grasshopper. First I will divide the surface into divisions and then convert the facade to mesh and use weaverbird to extrude the Mesh. finally, the point attractors will produce a parametric building.

Hey there! I was wondering if there is anything I could use instead of weaverbird. I tried using "extrude" and plugging that in but it obviously didn't work bc it is a fixed variable... meaning everything will be extruded in the same length.
anyone has an idea how i can unify all these extrusions to one mesh ? im on rhino 6 and cant booleanunion all the extrusions cause of the non-manifolded edges
any way to resolve this?

You can use mesh from surface if you have a Nurbs surface
I can't drag the remap file to the GH canvas (I'm on Mac), is there another way? Or maybe do the Remap numbers + bounds + construct domain thing manually? If that is the case, how do i do it?
Nvm, fixed it manually. Didn’t need to use the remap+, used the original approach with a bit of logic :)
You can also copy the file in to file>special folders>user object folder
Because remap is used most of the times I made it in a component
Can i create different shapes other than squares to extrude out?
