Tough part about removing ur transfer case is 2 bolts under the the turbo ... Don't disconnect the driveshaft ... Label all bolts , put them in there own separate bag .. Label them .. That's that hard part remembering where they go hit me up on Facebook if u any help
FYI if you end up upgrading your turbo and go with a stock location turbo. You'll want a different intake if you want to make over 500whp. The oem maf housing is very restrictive. Don't be like me and pay for tuning twice.
How did you pull out the cover that's attached by three 10 millimeter bolts under turbo above the transfer case? I can't seem to shimmy it out with everything installed.
I have a problem with my 2014 mitsubishi lancer ralliart, the mitsubishi dealer told me that it was a cut in a computer module, he followed the failure again I took it to the dealer and they tell me that it is the sst transmission is a very rare failure that failure I think not even the dealer knows what it is, what he recommends
Im planning on removing the transmission from my evo x too so im looking at you for tips. Only different is that mine is the mr version, but there's no video about the mr transmission removal.

Thinking I broke something but first still engaged and drives but has a bad whine to it now. Thinking about doing a transmission rebuild kit but I'm unsure what it and why it's whining now. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Today my 2015 evo X started slipping in 5th gear. When hitting the gas it would jump from 2500rpm to 4500rpm then drop back down to 2500rpm then the gear would catch. Does that sound like a clutch to you?
Does the axle stud need to 100% come out I’ve got everything apart and free trans still seams to be stuck on somethings it separates about 1” but doesn’t go and farther

Really? I've never had a problem with my throw out bearing but i had the master cylinder go out a few months after I got the car in 2013 off the lot and had a clutch go out about a year ago
My FUCKING transfer case WILL NOT budge. All 6 bolts are out, nothing should be holding it in but the input shaft, it wont move. I've got pry bars on the top and the bottom and it WILL NOT move.

Yes, with the exception of the clutch. You just remove the bolts for the torque converter & shift cable.

It took about 5 hours to drop the transmission

Its a common issue. Symptoms were the clutch fork was loose, meaning it was not attached to the TOB.
Is there a way to tell if it’s your clutch master cylinder or tob? I’m praying my TOB ain’t it because my clutch slammed to the floor today.

Get a slide hammer and a m8x1.25 bolt and rip it out.
