For bass and guitars, same thing, custom made to spec, pick ups are custom one-offs, The wood is hand selected to ensure perfect continuity and blemish free, with several lines mass produced being made of a different species to reduce the cost for the public. if you tell me what your budget is i might be able to help you a little more
Most awkward place to put a splash.
this is what brass cymbals sound like, i don't know why everyone is so fucking uptight about it
Keep in mind, this guy is not mic-ing them individually and just using either an overhead or just the camera mic. If you know what your doing in the mix or in a small live venue, these can easily be used as home studio cymbals
Meinl cymbals are not cheaper zildjian or Sabian. This guy needs to check out a music 123 drum catalog. Every brand has a cheap series set of cymbals but meinl is better and more expensive than both those brands
or you could have bought a pack of less cymbals which are high end and not spend money on all of the stands.
20 inch crash sounding bell😂😂😂😂😂😂
I agree, for the money Wuhan has better sound quality and better prices
Meinl cymbals are more expensive then most ziljan, and Sabin cymbals, meinl sell a 28inch ride of $900
About what I was expecting for cheaper cymbals, I was considering buying a kit that had these cymbals for parting out and keeping the cymbals. Thanks for your realistic review, not the sound I'm after, but at least you made an acoustic vid, unlike the crooked companies/marketers implementing EQ and falsely improving the sound just to sell a product.
Do not I repeat do not buy these cymbals. I hate the sound of these things. Sounds like they were made in someone's garage.
But they are $400 to be fair
Jdb87002_2 in what world are they $400v
GooogleMan hate to be this guy but back in my day I would love a set like this for $400 drum stuff is expensive if you want good quality
They sound pretty bad.. I cringed when the 14 inch crash was played.. No wonder such a large set is so cheap..
You need to polish your sound too much when playing the drums, I don't think it's the cymbals
I challenge you to a drum off. Post tour response vid here under your account. Cheers
I don't remember when i heard a set sounding that poor last time
the 14 inche crache sounds terrible, and i actually have it sow quite tiping a bout cameras changing the sounds, for the 16 innnnnche crache, that i also have, its my beste sounding symbol in my drum set, for the other symbal, i dont have them, sow i quant give my opiggnon, the oneli thing i quan say is that they sount alricte on vidéo.
Worst sound cymbals and drum go for zildjian
the zbt and planet Z and paiste 3 sounds like shit anyways, bettes saving money to spend on better cymbals like Byzance, A Zildjian, and AAx Sabian
Effects cymbals are ok everything else is trash
I don’t like Meinl, they are cheap and they don’t really sound good, The bell sounds like a mini china, I’ve owned the bell before I get the comments saying I don’t know what I am talking about,
I do
Jack Wilczynski you don't know what your talking about. haha. Just kidding. had to give you a hard time because you have my name. I agree with you. was thinking about getting this set until I heard them on this video. would rather just buy 1 good one at a time than a whole set that doesn't sound like I want.
Why would anyone buy these?
to have a pile of shit for too much money i think?
Jordy Gijzen I have a 16 and 18 inch Meinl HCS crash and I love them.
Millennium Colossus Coasters I h8 the 18” one I have
I bought the super pack. Even recorded my bands ep with them.
If you wanna hear how that sounds look up "Life Eats Life" on youtube.
Its 10 cymbals for 350 dollars. That's why
