God bless you, brother. I am so glad God saved you and your family! I'm ex-bi and struggled with gender dysphoria as a teenager. Jesus really is amazing, perfect love and truth.

God bless you, brother. Your testimony was beautiful to hear. I too formerly lived practicing the sins of homosexuality and drug use and have found freedom in Christ as well!

A true Christian has a Master and because he has a Master he obey his Master , if the Master says you remain single, he remains single, whatever it takes, he is willing to obey.some have to give up smoking, some alcool, some other things, and some their natural affections towards men or women, now to men this is impossible but to God nothing is impossible.he doesn't take without giving more , better, fuller.his plan is perfect, pure, Holy, wonderful.he doesn't want to take what you love to make you miserable, but because he Knows that a way seems right to a men but its issue is death. If you love him , trust and obey, because obeying is better than sacrifices.if you love me keep my commendements" he says..no we are not doomed to sin forever, Jesus came to saves you but from your sins, not keep you as you are a sinner, otherwise, his sacrifice means nothing. this generation has more light than the previous ones, because all ten commandements and the bible has been clearly exposed to them, now is your choice, choose today whom you might serve!

Wonderful you are drug free. NOT wonderful that you perpetuating a LIE that all gay people are drug users, promiscuous and a part of a "lifestyle".
Susan Baker, It's a shame you are unable to embrace your son as he is. You can't image how difficult is to have a parent not accept you. You can't imagine the isolation and disfunction that creates. A prime reason for reckless behavior and self hatred, as featured in this "testimony".

+DarrickDraper Before they were saved, Christopher's parents could not accept him, especially his mother. After being saved, they did/do accept he--like every human being--has a sin nature. That sin nature stems from the Fall, and it manifests in different ways, but regardless of what sins a person commits, without salvation, they are lost. Christopher has a propensity or bent toward same-sex attraction (and like all of us, he probably has other areas where he is more susceptible to temptation). He has made the realization through the Word that while he may not have consciously decided to be gay, he is still responsible for what he does with that. He acted upon it and was a practicing homosexual for a number of years. That also lead to self-medication and unhealthy social habits (partying, using, fornication, etc.). He takes responsibility for all that. He is also wanting holy sexuality for himself and others which according to the Word means either remaining single and chaste, or marriage between one man and one woman.
I have met him and he is not the kind to stereotype others. If you think he is perpetuating a lie, what lie is it. He told what happened to him, he in no way said all gay people are the same (though centering any identity on sexual expression is precarious at best)... Was he to say he didn't party, use drugs, act promiscuously, etc? That would be a lie.
My guess is the Spirit is convicting you or you wouldn't have such a defensive reaction.
      Godspeed.
