    A BRIEF ABOUT MZEE’S JOURNEY
In 1946 he came to Kampala from Kasenene at 16 years of age on
a lorry, a journey he fondly describes as Nkaija Nindora. His big
brother Njojo was working in East African telecommunications
and Muzeyi joined as a casual laborer.
He was then recommended to go for training in Embakasi, Kenya.
On his return he was given a permanent job as a technician.
He met Gladys in 1963 with whom he has spent the rest of his
    2
time since then. They shifted to Kibiri B in 1970, where they
    raised children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In 1977,the East African Community collapsed and so did its
    institutions.
He was retired as a senior telecommunications technician.
Later, Awhite opened up a company known as Comulec
Telecommunications located at the present-day standard
    chartered building, Level 2.
He was recommended for the job due to his efficiency with the
    previous job.
He worked with the company until he got into an accident at
Shell BP,7th Street due to his eye illness(glaucoma). He was on
clutches for a long time and later retired.
He has spent the rest of his life in Kibiri B.

I want to extend my deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of late Kabonesa.. Losing someone as special as him is not easy, and it is important that we come together as a community to support each other during this difficult time.I want to remind the family of Kabonesa that it is okay to grieve, to feel sadness and anger, to cry and to scream. These emotions are all a natural part of the grieving process, and it is important to allow yourselves to feel them fully. Remember that everyone grieves differently, and it is important to give each other the space and support to mourn in their own way.In the midst of this sadness, it is also important to remember the good times and the beautiful memories that Kabonesa left behind. Reflect on the moments of joy and laughter, and hold onto those memories as a source of comfort and strength. Share stories and memories with each other, and allow yourselves to feel connected through your shared love for Kabonesa.I urge the family of Kabonesa to lean on each other for support, to reach out to friends and loved ones for comfort, and to seek professional help if needed. Grief is a heavy burden to bear, and it is important to take care of yourselves physically, emotionally, and mentally during this time.As we say goodbye to Kabonesa, let us remember the impact he had on our lives, the love he shared, and the memories he left behind. May his spirit live on in our hearts forever, and may his legacy inspire us to live each day with kindness, love, and compassion...Rest in peace, Kabonesa Phillip...You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten...
