BARRA DE SANTIAGO, EL SALVADOR:
Located in Ahuachapan, El Salvador, a scenic 2 hour drive from the capital city of San Salvador, Barra de Santiago is a fascinating place where the ocean, estero, and river mouth come together.
The beach in Barra de Santiago has warm water, nice sand, and a relaxed atmosphere year round. And is perfect for spending time with family and friends. And the estero in Barra de Santiago is home to a vast array of wildlife; birds, crabs, clams, shrimp, alligators, and many others call this wetland home.
Locals and foreigners alike visit Barra of Santiago to enjoy the spectacular views and relax in the warm Pacific ocean waters. But also to appreciate the diversity of flora and fauna found in the Estero wetland, a protected natural area in El Salvador. And this is where we will start our journey....

My Spanish is broken but I get around. And I recently moved twice this year because I could not make payments. I have 5k saved up I never attended college but I did graduate haughty school with a 3.6 gpa. What would you say are opportunities for someone like me? The vlog was great, best one I've ever watched
While sitting in a grocery store parking lot. 😂
(That's just when I got the premiere notification;
I didn't intentionally schedule this in that location.)
My cart did not cross paths with the avocados,
But I did make an extra effort to go down the aisle
Where the ethnic, international foods were for sale.
I Googled some products there to see which of those
Were at least available in El Salvador, and I chose for trial
A soda & cookies that appeared to fit the bill on that scale.
The soda was called “Cola Champagne”, and was notable
Because it was fresh yet didn’t have a lot of fizzy bubbles.
The cookies were labeled “Marias Gamesa” and were
Treats with the consistency of crackers, but sweeter.
All in all, it was fun to use this excuse in order to try a few
Exotic treats after watching this vlog with scenic views. 😃

Nevertheless, I still finished it on account of the tasty stuff.)

Barra de Santiago looks like a great place to visit, never being there but it's on my to do list...
It is incredible never in my life did i think I would be able to walk around a wetland observing the animals at low tide and kayak at high tide especially with my kids 💙 such a beautiful place teeming with life. And the beach side was so full of wonderful families enjoying the sun and sand together 💙 i highly recommend it 😁

Is nice to see not over crowded like other beach resorts and you can really enjoy i. Nice to see it ES beaching after so long.
It really was so quiet and calm on the weekdays it was incredible 💙 and on the weekends so full of life music and family. Definitely a different experience from a resort 😊

@@ThatExpatMom lo conocí en agosto. Y di un tour por todo el estero. El manglar muy saludable de mucha altura garzas, lagartos, aves diversas. Bañándonos en la barra ya muy cerca del mar.
Comimos en una champa o no sé cómo les dicen en El Salvador. En Honduras tenemos varios sitios parecidos. Fue toda una sorpresa encontrar este paraje . Definitivamente, espectacular.
