Thanks to Travis Burns for filming! - Sport
I've watched almost every paramotor video on here and wow the last scene of this video is breathtaking. The edit and music take it to the next level.
That water though... absolute glass... beautiful photography guys, great video
It doesn't get ANY BETTER than that. Magnificent!!!
I CAN'T wait to get into paramotors.
Great review - Nice stable EN-A , corners / responds great . Even though I am just getting into this sport - if I got one I don't think I would need to change up to something else until it expired, as your review showed all the kind of flying I would be doing, nice simple cross country. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Patrick
As always another fabulous informative video - keep up the great work
Great and encouraging review, explanation and demo on this wing! :)
Been flying for a few years now. Been on Sky paragliders the whole time. I have flown a couple of other brands but when I got my hands on an Ozone while free flying, I truly am considering switching over from Sky to Ozone. I love this glider.
Rock on man!
I love a good wing review! Nicely done....informative!
I have a 2019 model mojo power, can’t wait to try it this summer.
I just stumbled across this video. I like the idea of Wing Reviews. I would suggest including quantative comparative performance specs (top speed, flight endurance, stall speed, glide ratio, etc) so perspective buyers can know how it stacks up against other wings. As a newb, I'm trying to really understand why I would choose this wing over any others. Thanks.
Man, nice wing! Great demo and explanations. Answers a
lot of newbie questions. if only I had the where with all.
Make it happen man! It's time to fly!
That''s why I bought my Ozone Mojo from you guys. Many thanks.
Thank you!!
Great vid. Thinking about making this my first wing. Seems very stable but also something to grow into a little.
Right on man! Let us know if we can help you get one :)
same here.. i'm about 65kg not sure if it's gonna work with this one...
I wish I could have Eric as my instructor when I start the sport. You guys are lucky to have him.
He’s lucky to have himself...he’s one of the owners of AviatorPPG...and his whole team is just as awesome!!!
Very nice video! It looks like a nice, safe...but fun wing!.....as you know, beginner wings don't have to be dull...and this one is not....keep up the great videos!!
Thanks Larry!
Great video and nicely done thanks!!
beautiful vid, I fly a mojo4 only 10hrs post cp, it feels like the right wing for me, I always take a wrap on the longish break lines
Just ordered one today from you guys. Have to see if I still fit in my kiting harness and warm back into this beautiful sport.
Wonderful Ben! Thank you for your business :D Hope to fly with you soon!
Great video! Pretty sure this is going to be my first wing!!
Jason D'Amico 😬
Me too mate
Im gonna ask about this one.
me too. either that or the Dominator.
Would love to see more about the Dudek Report'Air
Hi Eric. Phil here, I live in the uk and love watching your videos, Well here goes.I am pg pilot and instructor rated with the B.H.P.A. in the uk but that was about 7 years ago, I am now looking to do the conversion course to ppg, Wish i was the other side of the pond as i would deffinatly be coming to your school for instruction just love the way you are with your students, I dont plan to buy anything until i have qualified but always looking at the different motors out there and yes i do like the mojo wing, Looks good and also been looking at the top 80 motor, Well now for the crunch i am 65 years old but still pretty fit, What are your thoughts on a oldie like me getting into ppg and equipment. Thanks and will continue to watch your great vid's . Stay safe Phil.
Hi Phil, we tutor a vast amount of students from absolute beginner to expert levels that want to progress in the Uk. Check us out UKparamotor.com
Brilliant introduction... :)
Very nice video!
Nice video! Thinking about getting this one 😊
Did u get it
By the way those foot drags are the best I've ever seen. Amazing, powered kitesurfing! Haha
Please do a review on Speedster 2..!!
i love this channel
Awesome video/reivew! Would you say the Mojo PWR is one of the safer wings for closer to mid-day flying, with higher winds/thermal activity?
I'm looking for a good beginner wing that would also work later on for a wider range of conditions, eventually flying XC / in mountain ranges / thermals / fly-camping / etc. The Spyder & Roadster 2 seem like they'd fit the bill too, but would they be a lot less stable/forgiving than the Mojo PWR? Thanks
Not TOO much different. Talk to your instructor, he should be able to walk you through the EN-Testing system. I love thermalling the Mojo on motor :)
Great video! I just bought my first paramotor and wing and have started training under two amazing instructors in Alabama.
Would you give your thoughts on the Ozone Roadster 2? That's the wing I bought and I can't wait to try it. I have the 28m variant. Thank you!
The Roadster is an awesome glider! Congrats on your new adventure :D
Incredible
Feel free to leave a comment or question. We are here to serve :)
I've really been contemplating the mojo 5 but I think the wing isn't suited for my environment/me or in that matter any beginner wing.. have you tested the geo4?? If you could please take the time and search makapuu/Waimanalo paragliding if not.. you'd see that this a serious ridge line with usually heavy winds .. am I looking at the right type of wings?! The geo4 seems like it could handle it/about anything but I don't want to sacrifice safety but at the same time I can't sacrifice performance either or I'll be unsafe too, really need some good advice or at least point me in the right direction of which category of wing I should be looking at for this location if this is not an optimal level of wing. I believe I can handle any* glider , been around kites/foils/ gliders almost my whole life (on the ground) and am ready to make an investment that will hopefully last a life time not looking to upgrade and upgrade, just coastal soaring, thermaling, that will need serious performance that is relative to safety . Wind can be 20+ on most days Please help me out I'd really appreciate it, you sound like you have experience with different wings and that's the type of opinion I consider valid. Budget is 4k and below. I'm sorry this doesn't relate to powered paragliding, the MOJO is what brought me here. Thanks for sharing this vid, it helped me realize that this wing might not be agile/fast/glide/responsive enough.. imo! Thank you so much for taking the time to give us some of your knowledge. Anyone who is reading this I'd love to hear what you fly!! Even if you're into hang gliding! Thank you for your time sir
Hey man, if you're thinking of flying regularly (ridge soaring) in 20+ mph I'd encourage you to take a step back.... You definitely want to start on a beginner wing, but it sounds like your site may be beyond a beginner.. Hmm. Where do you live?
Hey Eric, why don't you guys recommend the Ozone Spark as a beginner wing? On Ozone's website the insinuate that its the most "safe", so just wondering if you guys think the Mojo is safer or not so boring and safe?
Could I buy one of those wings online with a "training" harness so I could practice at home?
Can a person get health/ life, accident, liability, insurance, for flying and learning to fly a paramotor? 🤓🤕😲
I never hear about the kuna 2. That is the wing I fly, I love it. Any of your input on this wing would be super helpful. Thanks Eric
We have a video about it! czcams.com/video/4F7U3GXCnAQ/video.html
Would love to see more about how beginner wings recover from full collapses/failures! Also, which are the best for people who just want safest leisure flying?
I'd definitely recommend any EN-A wing. You can read the EN - Safety reports on most reputable wing manufacturers site's. My favorite is still the Mojo!
Let's sat for leisure flying in safe conditions. Out of 10 thousand flights how many are you gonna need to use a reserve shute. I so want to get into this but it scares me
I want this!
I'm strongly considering this wing as my first wing. Primarily I want to so a lot of sight seeing and cross country. Is this wing good for that? I hope it has really good lift. How does it handle the thermals? I'm gonna be exploring a lot of mountains and wilderness so I need something good for that. Otherwise, I was looking at the Roadster 2. Not sure which would be a better beginner wing specifically for my needs. (The paramotor I'm most interested in is your upcoming Tornado 280, so I wonder if either of these would go good with that?)
Hey there, either wing will work well for you. I thermal with the Mojo frequently. The Roadster's extra speed would be nice for XC but it's not as safe. All things to consider!
Great video! What size of Mojo PWR do you use and whats your bodyweight?
What sizes of wing would you recommend me to buy? I’m living at 6600 feet from sea level and body weight, 160 pounds and wanna go for foot lunch
Eric, would this be a lot safer than the Paramania Revo3 for a beginner? I was looking at this wing initially (the mojo), because of its passive safety, but was told I would quickly get bored of it, and that I'd be fine with a Revo3. Is that accurate? I'm not interested in acro -- mainly local / XC flying.
It certainly would be safer... And I still love flying them... Sooo :p haha. Check out Tucker Gott's video on them too :D
Looks very stable.
Hey Eric, I'd like to see a review of the XXS Dominator, that or some of the faster wings on the market.
+TheDogsoldier117 I'll be happy to make some reviews of good, certified wings. We're working on one for the Sirocco :)
+AviatorShow Looking forward to it!
I'm deciding between this and Roadster as beginner wing. I want safety but I don't want to compromise too much speed. What is this one cruse speed and what is roadster cruise speed? Thanks.
Love from Nepal
Would that wing handle a 265# Man and a Flat Top Trike? I am Limited mobility and cannot run.
excellent review Tucker Gott had the same asymmetric result at a collapse ..
Great vid Eric. I have just bought a mojo 5, and it doesn't have the trim system? The picture in the manual of the risers doesn't have the trim on either? Any help much appreciated
You need the Mojo Power risers!!
Hi Eric. What about water float device? It's so awesome to just glide over swamps and then fly away harmless.
+Shalin Plumber We utilize at least two flotation devices on each unit... The Powerfloat "2 Be Sure" is fantastic. I'll work on a review soon :)
great video. thanks
+Davinder Baidwan Sure thing! Thanks for watching :)
Hey Aviator!
This wing is suppose to be dual purpose free flight and ppg. Have you ever tried free flying it?
would the same wing (talking size i guess) be good for the same pilot minus the weight of the engine?
I would be looking at getting this wing and the air conception nitro 200. il be using it for both free flight and PPG in colorado, so high altitude less than 10k' but great than 5k'.
Do you guys offer a bundle package (motor, wing, training)
Hey man, yes! I've done a good bit of freeflying on this wing in almost all the sizes. It can definitely work for your needs. I'd consider the Ozone Spyder as well. It's a bit easier to launch and offers a little more "fun" as it is rated as an intermediate wing.
You'd still have your first flights on our Mojos, but move up to the Spyder as time continues :)
We do offer bundles, yessir. Actually have a new student joining us from Colorado this weekend... The 4th this year!
Great video...
We need like a "Dennis Kirk" style online/catalog store that offers a huge selection
Ammon Gage we have almost 2,000 items available on our store!
Hi Eric, as a beginner would be worth buying the Mojo PWR or go straight to the Roadster 2 for instance, taking in mind the idea of keeping it for a long time ? thank you!
+rickzibr Hey there Rick, it really depends on your skill and budget. I'd love to see all of my students flying on the Mojo first for 50-100 hours but some of them have the skills to jump to a Roadster or the like much faster. Both wings will make you a better pilot :)
What is it with the sonar ping throughout the video?
Hi Eric, what type of helmet set up do you have?
Is there much of a difference between a mojo 5 and the mojo power other than the trims?
Is this still the best wing for a beginner?
This is my dream to do. I love flight and this looks like a cheap, and more importantly safe, way to fly and glide and just enjoy the sky. I want all my pilots licences some day, but this may be something to save up for now. What woudl you recommend as a good starting budget for equipment? Just want to know what to shoot for.
Welcome!!
Expect to spend $10-15k on gear, it's not the cheapest thing in the world but after acquisition it's quite affordable to fly!
That is waht i hear. Far cheaper in the long run (or even in the short) then a fixed wing aircraft or helicopter.
Yes indeed!
Any chance you could do a comparison between the Mojo Pwr and the Kona? Would the Kona be a suitable wing for a beginner right out of school? Thanks. Great vid.
Hey there Torqd, we usually sell the Kona to pilots with good skills and more than 15 flights who are looking to do a lot of free flying as well as motoring. If motoring is their goal we usually sell them a Roadster 3.
AviatorShow Ok. Thanks for the info. I’d like to do both disciplines but living in Flat Illinois would make free flight a little tough. I think I’ve pretty much decided on the Mojo Pwr to start and then move on after I’ve mastered that wing. From what I’ve seen the Roadster 3 would be the best next step in progression or maybe the Spyder. Thanks again. Cheers
How does this one compare to the Bright 5?
awesome vidieo I would love to do that☺
I know this is an old video, but I'm fixing to buy my first wing and have narrowed it down to either this wing or the Dudek Universal. Could you do a comparison, or comment? Thank you!
Rotor Hawg 100% this wing :)
great videos :)
would you recommend a ozone spark or mojo pwr for a first paramotor wing?
Both are good, but the Mojo is easier to launch.... So go Mojo!
AviatorShow thanks for the reply :)
I'd like to see a review of the Sol Atmus One. Have any experience with Sol?
+kcferg30 We don't have much experience with the Sol line up. We can ask around and see if we can get our hands on one for you.
Hi Sir, what is the avarage cruise speed for this wing? flying below 500 feet from sea level.
Approx. 25mph
What motor are you running there? GREAT VID !thanks
He told you, Nitro 200
Question on size selection; I'm 81kg and the small is rated up to 85kg and the medium is 80 -100kg. Is it best to go for medium and have a grater margin for adding weight or the small? Thanks
What does your motor weigh? What altitude are you flying from?
Hi, Thanks for the reply, I'm will be flying from approx 300ft sea level. TBH I haven't purchased the motor yet, just in the early stages and gathering info. Assuming an average motor weight, approx 30kg fuelled, is that about right?
Airdesign Eazy wing please???
Does anyone know if an Advance Epsilon 3 28 Glider Paraglider would be ok for me as a beginner?
It's a very old glider and designed more for intermediates :/
Hi there, that is anazing, i would really want to have that wing/glider. What size you think is fit for a 5'4" 135 lbs guy. Pls let me know and how much is it?
Hey there Homer! There's actually a new version! It's called the MojoPwr2 - I'd get a small at your weight. $3,350
great video! I'm looking for a wing I'm between ozone mojo pwr or kona ... have you tested kona?. Thank you
I have! It's an awesome wing... My choice if your plan is to spend a lot of time free-flying. Otherwise if your goal is a good stable B wing, go for the Spyder.
@@aviator I believe the Spyder does not have an EN rating.
You can have a blast on an A wing folks!
Yup,if you want more speed just drop a size.
how does it compare to the dudek nemo xx that you guys were using before?
It's a bit more stable, less agile, and maybe a touch easier to launch. Both are awesome gliders imo.
Is this the slowest flying wing available?
I hope I get a chance to fly some day
We'd love to help you!
What about atom 3 ?
What motor were you using, and would you say the two (motor and wing) pair well?
+OoxTruExoO In this video I used the Air Conception Nitro 200 and Ultimate 130... Definitely a good pair.
AviatorShow Thanks, happy holidays.
Nice glider
Hi How much would it be looking at to get a second hand one and shipped to the uk
I'm sure you can find one in the UK fairly easily :D
What is a good wing for a 270 lb person that has a wide range for beginner, intermediate to advance. So as skill goes up you would not need a new glider right away.
You wouldn't want to buy a glider that fits with all skill levels... Unless it were a beginner glider... Which I still fly frequently.
Have you any info on the Ultralite 4 EN A. On ozone it is listed as being for all skill levels. It also listed as an A wing but I can not find anyone using it on a paramotor. Is it to new? Not for paramotors? or have a weight limit? Whats your thoughts on that?
Is that motor good for a beginner 190lbs and possibly to use on a trike.
Absolutely. We use them in our school, foot launch and trike.
How would you compare this wing to a Kona for a beginner wing ?
Kona is an excellent wing but rated for intermediate pilots. Ideally suited for after training :)
@@aviator Thanks
I wanted a comparison of the ozone mojo A rated and a roadster b rated....
We can work on that
Is this better than the dudek universal for a beginner?
Absolutely. The Universal is designed as an intermediate wing. Highly recommend the Mojo over it for a beginner.
Is the training only in Florida? I want to do this but I live in ND and that's a long ways from me
We actually have a phenomenal dealer in Nebraska, check out Paramotor Nebraska!
@@aviator I'll have to check them out. Thank you
what do you think about roadster 2 20m ? what is more acro speedster 2 22m or roadster 2 20m?
thanks!
The Speedster will roll faster etc. It is a C glider vs. the B.
what is most dinamic? roadster 2 20m or speedster 2 22m ? my weight is 95kg with paramotor.
thanks!
Speak to your instructor for help :)
What is the country of origin where the Mojo is made?
Vietnam
What about distance will it go just as fare as a speedy one..or its too slow to go fare ? thanks for your thoughts .
Mechanic and skills it’s not really designed as a cross country glider. Rather as a stepping stone to get you to one safely.
@@aviator Thank you for your reply...what one would be a beginners cross country if i can word it that way ? for your FIRST cross country go at it ?
Mechanic and skills this wing will do it well just slower than others. The new MojoPwr2 is faster and better in every way too :)
@@aviator thanks i hope it does not para park as they say lol going to your site now too look up the MojoPwr2 thanks for your help
How about the Spyder
There's a video on our channel about it! LOVE that glider :)
How would it compare to the Buzz PWR?
+Jay Edgar I've flown both, the Buzz PWR offers a bit more dynamic handling, and a bit more performance, but slightly less natural stability and safety.
Can this be used for free flying without the motor
Absolutely.
Can this wing be used as a paraglider also, for a beginner?
Absolutely.
Awesome :) how it compares to the CIMA K2
Multirotor Go K2 is Amazing
6:50 this guys has a deathwish. 'A' symmetric pull that close to the ground? Must be all that fluoride they put in the drinking water in Florida.
That's gotta be more fun than ....ing !
That sells.
Well v nice ....can you help me ....I wanna make my own paraglider at home I have a strong desire...I will be very thankful to you if you help me
Don't make ur own bad idea
Why does it seem that most videos of flying paramotors are at sunset?
A lot are at days end bc the wind usually settles to its calm of the day
@@rgthomson100 Makes sense. Thanx.
What is the cost of the system?
+Edward Plitt The wing runs from $3,200 to 3,800. For a full set up most of our students spend $8-12k
What about a kona I want to do free flight also.
The Kona is IDEAL if you're planning to do both and only want one wing. That's what I fly for both currently :)
Sweet yeah that's probably what I'll end up getting now I just got to find a good motor for high elevations and training
drop us a line any time :)
Yeah I defiantly will about how much is training with you guys. Id be coming from Colorado
Training is $2,500 with us... Check out our website in the description :)
is this better than spark for beginner?
+beeqool Oh yes, much. It's easier to inflate and offers much better efficiency.
+AviatorShow why do they make two beginner wings then?
The Spark is still a good option for pilots who see budget as the main concern in their flying experience :)
Have there been any recorded accidents or deaths with this wing?
What kind of a guy does an A symmetric collapse test that close to the ground? Am I the only one that finds that f-ed up?
have you ever accidentally foot dragged a gator, I miss Florida
Eric Imfeld yes! Almost!
@@aviator +
seriously guys...do you ever get BORED of flying? I'm curious...
Kandaman nope, literally never
