*clears throat* A cartoon that references the awesome that is the possible combination of Judas Priest and Pink Floyd.... show this to your kids. If you do, you can rightfully say "Parenting done right".
@sayastra I heard the creators liked the English version, as it was something they really would like to see. Besides, it was a so-so series on Japan, so the comedic rhythm was welcomed. Like in My Little Pony, the comedic approach on Freidnship is Magic is what make people turn into bronies and... well... you know.
Unfortunately no. Back when I uploaded these videos, I also tried to make those soundtracks by cutting out every peace of soundtrack within the episodes but unfortunately there was just too much talking in the show which basically made that impossible (also every episode I had, also had different types of quality which also made it sound bad).
@videogamefan101 I've looked on ebay with no luck :( there's a ancient VHS for like 30 bucks but that's it- I feel a wierd riot of sorts being of need.
i always thought they were more making fun of power rangers- and as far as the western dubbing- apparently the creators actually liked the english dialogue more (they didn't receive a script in japanese or otherwise and had to create there own, in which case they just figured since it looked silly, the dialogue should be silly too)
@tlstar I also found out that the cat a tonic is actually a copy of 1 of the robots of the japanese powerrangers. of course you always hope it's original but this one was definetly
that's what i said- they're being tongue and cheek. They're mocking the power rangers- you know like doing a unflattering sarcastic impression of someone?
Discotek Media had a very limited release of the series set on DVD, but you had to order it directly from them. There weren't any in-store releases of the series.
wow, this takes me back...as awesome now as it was in the 90s
Why do u think I want it on DVD, even though it might cost say... $140-$200, when I hope it's only like... $35-$40??
Nice! This is one of my favorite scenes of SPC. and Speedy hit the robot straight in its "belly button". That was a good shot.
"Where'd he pick up all that military jargon?"
"He saw Top Gun FIVE times"

1:55 so epic when the music kicks in
Man! The Samurai Pizza Cats are alot cooler than the TMNT, but they don't get a movie, not even a second series! *flails* >.
No, It is copied from Spider-man's robot Leopardeon which a year later inspired Toei to make Sentai mecha starting from Battle Fever J.
A 360 shot with swishing background & armor up?? Discount Centurions Power Extreme! 😄

Also, does anyone know if there's a soundtrack for the American-ized version of this? 1:07 is an awesome tune.

@videogamefan101 or even a release on DVD (dammit)
as what I heard, this supreme cat-a-tonic was a robot used by the japanese powerangers, so spc copied this robot
@sayastra The episodes aren't even on DVD or BluRay? WTH!

If I'm not mistaken, the supreme cat a tonic is copied from the japanese power rangers
