@@nodiggity4283 Kite man got the best ending he could have. He went out on his own term and i'm excited to see what they do with him in season 3.
@@nodiggity4283 Kite Man got to grow as a person and realise that he deserves better than just settling for someone who is interested in someone else. It was great character growth and he's a far better person now than he was at the start of the show.

And he did... in Dark Knight Rsises... which used the Steelers stadium for it... which was the answer to the trivia question he got wrong. So many layers to a joke.

Kayley Cuoco really impressed me with her preformance. Her different voices for what the character is doing are really impressive, the small details are really appreciated
Yes, and the accent is actually sort-of incorporated into the story. So even when she's not doing the accent, it's got a metaphorical reason for it.
@@TheBloobster Yeah even further into the season when she goes to a place she instinctively starts using an accent because of its effects on her.
@@jameshughes7946 Exactly what I'm thinking of... there are other smaller moments where it comes out, but that's the most clear indication of what the show is about (moving on from your past to create a new, better you)
I'd be totally down for a live action version of Kaley Cuoco's Harley and Lake Bell's Ivy. They look exactly like the characters irl.

Tom King wrote the War of Jokes and Riddles well. I don't know why people hate his Batman run.

@@crapstirrer mainly because he had a clear picture of the story he wanted to tell, but he was given way too many issues (which was later cut short), so to fill out the run, he had to write way too many fluff/filler issues, which would unnecessarily stretch a story and have no impact as a whole (example: the whole nightmares issues, when Batman was knocked out by Thomas Wayne Batman)

He had about a 50-issue idea stretched into a 100 issue plan. An entire story arc was a dream sequence. The Batman wedding was the most hyped thing DC was doing for months and then they didn’t get married. You can only read “Bat.” “Cat.” “Bat.” “Cat.” so many times.

Harley first was introduced to the Animated series as a one off character.
It wasn't until much later on that they gave her a past and a background.
I can't even imagine DC Comics without one of it's most entertaining characters
Fun Fact: The Dark Knight Rises was filmed in Pittsburgh, so a lot of the football players in that stadium scene were actually The Steelers!
Fun fact: Dark Knight Rises WOULD of been filmed in Chicago like the second one but Transformers 4 was filming during the time.

I'm so looking forward to what they think of what was done between Harley, Ivy, and Kite Man. I have no idea if I'm in the minority or majority on this but that plotthread was one of my favorites in the show. I was completely invested in that drama.

Harley's a little like Lucifer actually, a reasonable woman gives her good advice, she seems to be getting it... and then she takes it entirely the wrong way.
Bane is legit one of the best characters in this show, purely amazing! They really did awesome with all the characters.

Paul Ruebens (aka Pee Wee Herman) also reprises the cameo role of Penguin's father (Papa Penguin?) from Batman Returns in the tv show Gotham. He appears as that show's version of Penguin's father in a few episodes.
Bane stands out for me amongst a lot of great character voice work and great writing on this show. If you listen to alternative comedy podcasts you might be familiar with comedian/impressionist James Adomian's work. He also does a killer Jesse Ventura. You don't get much of it here, but Andy Daly does the voice of Two-Face and some others and is another comedy podcast luminary (look up Don Dimello is you're curious).
I knew he was in Gotham but it had been so long I had to check about the movie. I think that was great casting.

Joel Dean nah I don't like Punchline. She feels so not creative... Maybe I'll like her when/if she leaves the Joker and becomes her own character, but for now she just feels like a modern version of the 90s Harley Quinn.

James Adomian (Uh-Dome-Ee-Un) is a stand-up comedian and impressionist. He's famous for his Jesse Ventura, Tom Leykis, Bernie Sanders, Lewis Black, and Paul Giamatti impressions, among many others. His Bane is next-level hilarious, and you ain't seen *nothing* yet.

(So thank you for that!) Amazing show with well written characters, a good story and enough excitement to go around.

You'll be happy to know that Kite Man is a huge part of the show. You could actually argue that he's basically the 3rd lead, featured almost as much as and sometimes more than Joker.
