Lamar Jackson is on Another Level

  • NFL Quarterback Lamar Jackson is playing the best football of his career because the Baltimore Ravens are now setting him up to show off the full breadth of his skill set consistently. Jackson is thriving away from Greg Roman's scheme and with a group of wide receivers who can actually get open.

You're not going to get any argument from me. Lamar's pocket presence, spatial awareness, understanding of angles etc. really is all on another level. It would be nice if they would use OBJ a little bit more, but it seems like they are utterly terrified of him getting injured again.

They use him enough. With the amount of weapons that they have it makes it easier for them all when one guy isn’t the main guy. Not only that but you gotta remember, just as much as the ravens offense wants to thrive, the defenses that go against them want to thrive too. With that being said, the defense tries their best to make sure Odell doesn’t have the ball

I think it was 28 teams. A couple passed on him twice and the Ravens passed on him once. Great move by Ozzie to trade up and draft Lamar.

He warned everyone this would happen he went into the hyperbolic time chamber he trained in 300 times the earths gravity every painful loss was a zenkai boost truss size exceeding well over 9000 he said remember my promise I am going to honor it he said if you give me that money I'm going to make it a great deal for you. They said super Ravens were just legend and he proved it real. Superman wears Lamar Jackson pajamas. Chuck Norris tells Lamar Jackson jokes. Every tear they secondary cries only serves to make him stronger. To the ruthless heartless "pundits" he promised he would make them suffer.

All they needed was some inhancements at WR and they could easily grab a super bowl this season especially if they stay healthy.

THe Aguilar catch a bit behind him at 4:50 was diagnosed as a poor throw by a QB Coach channel... he said if it was on the money Ag would absorb or juke the defender. I agree with Cian because of Lamar keeping the ball away from defenders.

Go watch Lamar at the end of his freshman year. He has worked hard on hitting the west coast darts on 3, 5, and 7 step drops. He even puts a little hitch in his giddy up sometimes. Lamar and Ravens are the team to beat. Defense wins Chips.

I appreciate people from other countries taking an interest in American football. Cheers Mate. One thing, at 5min mark, that is an awful pass. It use to be called a hospital pass because thats where the WR went after the play or they got gator arms. That was a bad read on more than likely a bad offensive play call. Sometimes the very best play is to throw it out of bounds or even take the sack. Live to fight another day but turnovers are the biggest factor in who wins these games.

Your absolutely right. But the best of the best QB's are the ones the can read all the tell signs much further down field. Every offensive coach on earth feels a QB should be able to read and react to all short field throws in the line of his eye sight. All he had to do was look straight ahead and know by the defenders that the running back was going to have a open catch if he threw it quick before the running back got a couple steps past the line of scrimmage. Everything was directly in front of him to read for that particular pass and route. It starts getting much more difficult when a QB has to turn away from his direct line of sight and recognize who should be open by what the defenders are trying to do. Before he can actually see where he's going with the ball. Is the wide left receiver going to have a open spot without the QB actually seeing the receiver yet. Seeing half the field and still knowing which option is going to have the widest window to throw in is what the absolute best QB can do.
