    O'Neill - The name I suggested..

    O'Neill - Yeah
Carter - Sir, we can't call it the Enterprise

let's not forget Stargare SG-1 Episode "200" which had the cast coming up with ideas on how to present the Stargate program to the people, without actually revealing it. one of the skits shown is very reminiscent of Star Trek. Also, there is the Dr. Who episode of "The Empty Child" which first sees Rosae asking for the Doctor to bring out the "Spock: and then tells Captain jack Harkness that her traveling companion (aka The Doctor) is called Spock.

The best South Park reference was absolutely the episode "Roger Ebert Should Lay off the Fatty Foods." The specificity of spoofing "Dagger of the Mind" while also still feeling like a complete South Park episode was brilliant! I was still new to TOS at the time and I saw this South Park episode mere days before Sci-Fi Channel aired the special edition (90 minute) version of "Dagger of the Mind." It blew me away how South Park was redoing a specific episode!

I always saw the Trek references in Boston Legal as fourth-wall moments - Shatner doing a sort of nudge-nudge wink-wink to the audience implying "you remember me from my role in Star Trek". IIRC, Boston Legal had a lot of fourth-wall moments, of which the Trek references were very few.

"Wink nudge nod" in the Frasier episode "Star Mitzvah" where Frasier is tasked with getting Scott Bakula's autograph for a superfan friend but fails his quest. This superfan was supposed to guide Fraser through a Hebrew blessing for his son's bar mitzvah, but instead retaliates for the failure by transcribing it into Klingon. Frasier delivers the blessing in the synagogue which stuns the rabbi, but one of his son's friends recognizes the Klingon blessing and thought it awesome. Love that episode.

Boston Legal could be set within the Nexus, where Kirk is living an alternate life (consciously) - before he didn't want that anymore (aka it was/got cancelled) and returned to his farm, right before Picard shows up (so had Picard shown up at least a couple hours "earlier", then he would've met Kirk in 21st century Boston).
