@@TriceyReecy all me can seh is that dem can nyam though and dem nuh fat dwl..
@@TriceyReecy neva!
As a Jamaican, living in Jamaica still, I love to see this, happy you guys enjoy our food
I love that you guys always find similarities to your culture when you're trying food from other cultures. We're all more alike than we think! Great video.
This is so true! 💯 tysm! 🥰
@@ChimichongaSistershi
The seed is pimento seed and the “stick” is the stem from the thyme. The leaves came off of the stem while cooking and that is what was left. A lot of Jamaicans will just put all of the thyme in with the stem and leaves and let it cook.
What SaraEmmaLouise said.
Ahh Ty for letting us know 🙏
@@ChimichongaSisters they also call pimento 'allspice'
@@ChimichongaSisters yea it’s just for flavoring
@@1989Japrincess or pimento seed
The yellow part is the ackee, its Jamaica’s national fruit. The bone is from the salt fish.
Exactly
Ackee-it’s a fruit. The fishy part is the salt fish. So together Ackee and salt fish makes the national dish of Jamaica
the rice and peas is cooked in coconut milk along with thyme and escallion
As a Jamaican who loves korean culture i really love this video ❤
we Jamaicans mix everything dont worry about mixing
especially when boat run lol
I’m Jamaican, glad you guys enjoy the food. Ackee and Saltfish is normally not eaten with rice (that’s fine tho) normally eaten with dumpling, breadfruit and boil green bananas. That black seeds, pimento seeds, we don’t normally eat. Thanks for given your audience this experience
Thank you my beautiful sisters from your Jamaican sister.
You did a part 2 as I suggested with the ackee and saltfish 😘
Thank you for ur suggestion 🥰 It was amazing !
@@ChimichongaSisters big up unu self
Ackee is a fruit..it's our national fruit it grows on trees🇯🇲🇯🇲
Ackee is a fruit that grows on a tree. It has to be cleaned and cooked properly. Some parts of it is actually poisonous. It is amazing- not usually eaten with rice though. It is best with fried dumplings or bammy or festivals or boiled green bananas. I had some for breakfast this morning! The ackee is mixed with salted cod fish that is boiled and flaked and mixed it with the ackee. The drink is supposed to be mimiking a very sweet champagne flavour.
rice and peas made is with coconut milk would love to see part 3 with callaloo, boiled banana, cowfoot, pigtail stew, snapper, pepper shrimp, fritters, cornmeal porridge, ginger beer, punch, sorrel, breadfruit, black cake, I think I'm just hungry I know that I'm having for lunch the next two weeks
Jamaican food Looks absolutely delicious 😋🤤 i hope you had a wonderful & blessed day today ❤️ wishing you lots of love, happiness, wealth and blessings for the new year 2021🎉🎊😍🤩 Love fron Saudia 💚🇸🇦
The part where they talked about Jamaican customer service 💯😂
Yeah....it doesn't exist!
I must say am Texan /Trinidadian. Its wonderful to see you both beautiful sisters exploring our Caribbean culture.
My heart is always going for you, the CZcams angels, and happy new year.
Happy New Year Saeb ❤️
What you found was a part of thyme and the “pepper” was pimento (allspice) it is found in most of our dishes.
The black thing you found in the rice and peas is what we call " Thyme" it's a herb seasoning common here in Jamaica. We commonly remove it before serving but lol a few peices may escape, you can just chew it if you wish.I enjoyed this video guys , Happy New Year🥳🥳🎊❤!
Big up Jamaican Cuisines, you ladies are adorable keep up the content an thank your for the complement of my food heritage. The drink i would personally choose is Sexy Juice, Mwahh i love it.
Its so refreshing to see people still bless their food
I’m Jamaican and I’m so happy you love the food. Yea Ackee is apart of the national fish and it is a fruit. I’m so happy you love it. You also should visit. I know you would love it too❤️❤️ May the Lord continue to bless you guys!!
Happy New Year!! You Guys Are The Greatest! Pimento and stick of thyme is what you found in the food for seasoning. 🇰🇷🇯🇲🥗😇
Love these sisters 💗 they always make me hungry when the eat various cuisines! 😋 chimmysquad❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes ladies am loving your contents, always wonderful to watch you try my home cuisine
Y'all should try the ackee with white rice or some boiled dumplings.
Imagine if they tried it with fried dumplin or breadfruit (roast & fried)
@@GrAdeAjAmAicAn man don't even start. Now I'm hungry.
The stem you came across was “thyme stem” and the black seeds are “pimento seeds”
Glad you guys enjoyed it 😄😄
I knew she would say "I love plantains" after tasting that sweet flavor
Ackee is actually the national fruit
Happy new year guys i appreciate that you love your food
Its lovely to see how respectful you are about the different cuisines you try ....
Love watching you guys eat my Jamaican food reminds me of when I eat Korean food, so delicious!
Yesss honey get in there with them fingers baby 😍😘😍😍😍thats the thyme stick 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲big up JA
Yes ackee is a fruit you can eat with rice but it’s best with “ground provisions”.
So nice that you really enjoyed our Jamaican food 💜
You never goes wrong ! 😃
Your style of the eating show is undoubtedly awesome ! 😋😋😋😜🥰😍
You guys should try Yemeni food, you can search for recommendations but here's the recommendations from me:
Main dish-hanith or mandi lamb with mandi rice
If you want a bread dish try fahsa or saltah with mulawah bread
Dessert-masoub or areeka (choose masoub or areeka malaki if they have it)
Beverage-hot adani tea or cold araisy
Happy new year 🥳 may you get more success in your life 😍🥰stay blessed with your beautiful family and friends ❤️
The reason why Jamaican food is so good is because we blend different taste from around the world an make it into one
Been waiting for this video 🙌🏼☺️
Love how you embrace our food.much love
The thing that reminded you of the wire is whole Thyme. The leaves fall off of the twig during cooking. The round dark ball is whole Allspice.
Also, Jamaican rice & peas tastes so good because it’s cooked with coconut milk, thyme, Allspice, and a lil ginger. Ackee is a Jamaican fruit. But, it’s cooked with salt fish (dried salted cod fish) as a savory dish. And yes it’s the national dish of Jamaica.
We typically eat ackee and saltfish with fried dumplings. Ackee is a fruit :) Try it with the fried dumplings next time, better than with rice!
Bammy!
#Chimisquad
Yeyyy i am first
Love you both ❤️
Happy new year (love your videos and you guys thanks for entertaing me😍😍😍😍😍
I just love that you guys say grace before you eat that so lovely

Love❤ from Jamaica🇯🇲
No, you can eat the Ackee with whatever you like ❤️
The stick you had was from the Thyme and the little black bean are called pimento seed or allspice it is used for flavoring
Love you guys, so natural and engaging. New subscriber here... 🇯🇲 🇲🇸
James Charles needs to collab with the sisters !!! You guys are so nice and cute and I love that your not afraid to mention your faith !!!
Can you not🙄
The stem you found is part of Tyme leaf we use it for seasoning in rice and also our meat.
Try Jerk pork, it is delicious. Try Ting, it's a grapefruit drink. Thyme is herb used a lot in Jamaican cooking, that's what you bit into
Ting and Kream soda (since they love Kola champagne so much)
Kool video!!! ❤️❤️❤️ I love to eat ackee with fry dumplings 😊
The round ball is pimento seeds also known as all spice. The stick looks like thyme.
The drink is kola champagne.which is a non alcoholic drink made from the outer layer of the kola nut or bissy. The ackee is a fruit ..paired with salt fish its Jamaica's national dish. Thank you for trying our food.
Pimento seeds and thyme sticks, I love that you guys enjoy our foods, been wanting to try Korean food since forever but the ingredients ate very difficult to get here.
Next you should try jerk pork , strew peas, fry chicken and Rum cake/ fruit cake and some snacks .
Happy New Year 💖🎉
Waiting for part 3❗️Great video❗️🇯🇲😁
Wow..... Two sis... Eating yummy food.... 😋😋🍴💓🇧🇩🇧🇩....... Or happy new year 😀🎉🎉 #Chimisquad
Next time try ackee and saltfish with boiled or fried dumplin, green banana, yellow yam, and or callaloo. It is traditionally eaten with some of the above dishes. My parents are both Jamaicans so we eat this a lot. We have homemade Jamaican food everyday.
Girlzz pleaaseeeee try to post everyday ur videos... I always wait for ur videos everydayyyyy..... 😭😭
Kola Champagne was my favourite growing up. They only do the glass bottles for export now and believe me, it tastes better in the glass bottle than it does in plastic. I didn't even know D&G still did glass bottles until one of my US trips when I saw the soda in Walmart. I am glad to see people from different cultures enjoying our food. I always wanted to try Korean food but there are no Korean restaurants here but you can get Kimchi, Gochugang (hope I spelt that correctly) and other Korean snacks at an Asian supermarket in Kingston.
Yummmm this looks so good!! i had Jamaican food in London,, it taste sooo good!! i really miss it!!!
Ackee and salt fish with fried dumplings and some hot chocolate on the side. (Get some scotch bonnet pepper on the side) chocolate , hot pepper and the umami from the ackee--delicious
Love you guys. You should try more of our food its delicious
Chimmisquad happy new year lots of love from pakistan❤❤❤
So amazing ❤️ video and I love to see this video my mouth is watering 😍🎊🔥so 🍚 happy new year 🎊💃 enjoy the last day of 2020 🤢 love from India 🇮🇳
#chimisquad i like you guys so much becuse you guys do the best mukbang videos and happy new year
We had curry chicken for dinner on Sunday. My mom (who is from Jamaica) made it. We ate it after church it was amazing. We have Jamaican food all the time. My dad is also Jamaican.
Watched both videos. Happy you both enjoyed the food. 🇯🇲🇯🇲
Yo these two girls can move food still eno 😄... Man I love to see it 😁
Happy New Year Sisters. 🥳😃😆
That thing you pulled from your mouth is the stalk of a seasoning they used called thyme. We use it in the meat and also the rice. The little ball thing u hold in ur hand is called pimento aka all spice. They use it a lot as well especially in soup and on jerks.
Enjoy your meal girls everything is edible and safe. 👍
#chimisquad keep up the good work ladies!
Yes I love part one and this too .you can call rice and peas red rice too you should try pumpkin rice with brown stew chicken very nice
That 'string' is the stalk of thyme. It's used to season everything along with its leaves. So u were right Lol. Love seeing people enjoy our food.
Happy new year #chimisquad sister's.❤️
Really proud you guys enjoying Jamaican food
omg , you guys should try our snacks next 😂 you could get it online.
Cola champagne... is caramel from chocolate/coffee from the blue mountains and tropical fruits such as pineapples
The stick is thyme, the peppercorn is actually pimento berries (aka allspice). Very prevalent in Jamaican cooking
I always love watching you guys eat lol it's just astounding that you guys can eat so much food 😂
But I love it more when you eat Jamaican foods because thats my home country 😋 ❤
It's like I can enjoy it with you because I know what good Jamaican foods taste like, so thank you for that. Also I'm pretty sure the fish you mentioned is the same as saltfish (at least the pic looks accurate).
Ackee is a fruit and fun fact: its poisonous before cooking. I usually eat ackee and salt fish with boiled dumplings and yams, green banana and potatoes.
Also Kool Kat sodas are the best, especially kola, cream soda, and pineapple ginger.
I'm glad I found you guys, I'm a big fan of different cultures especially Asian culture ( more South Korean, Chinese, Japanese and Thailand) because of the media (Kpop, Kdramas, Chinese music, Cdramas, Animes & Mangas, and Thai dramas). I haven't been brave yet to try different foods from other cultures so watching you guys is helping me with that! Thank you❤
-Kristal from Jamaica & New York
The yellow is the Ackee. It’s a fruit. The bone is from the salt fish. The stem is from the thyme. And lil black ball is pimento seed.
You both are so beautiful and most kind love your videos #chimisquad
If you see a busy Jamaican restaurants that means its one of the best places
Some other Jamaican dishes you can try are stew peas and rice, mackerel and banana, ackee and salt fish with fried dumplings, chicken foot soup, red peas soup with pigs tail.mackrel rundown. Every body keeps doing the same food. We don't only eat jerk chicken, oxtail and curry goat. Glad you enjoyed the meal.
“That’s how you know the food is good” that’s what my Dad used to say about Jamaican pepper pot soup. You girls should try it.
Luv u guys 😽
i think you should try stew peas, brown stew chicken, stew fish. carrot juice, callaloo. bammy and breadfruit goes well with ackee and saltfish. try curry goat as well.
The long stick you found is fresh Thyme and the black small spice is Pimento. I prefer my Ackee, (which is a fruit which typically made with salted Cod. I like mines served with fry dumplings.
#chimisquade happy new year to you guys 💖
Happy new year in advance 🎉🎊
The kola champagne is boss. Glad y’all enjoyed our food.
That stalk is thyme which is a seasoning.
That black seed is also a seasoning...whole all spice. Most people do not eat the all spice.
Ackee is a fruit.
You should try other Jamaican sodas such as cream doda, pineapple, ginger beer with pineapple, ting which is a grapefruit soda.
Paula the owner at Wijamin also makes good fry chicken with sauce, brown stew fish and curry goat.
When she said she could eat the rice n peas by itself! Suh yuh know it's good! 🇯🇲
The fish you tasted is salt fish this is amazing I love this video
You found Pimento aka all spice and thyme in your food. Saltfish is usually salted codfish or pollock and ackee is a fruit. Watching you both makes me miss home. Glad you enjoyed.
