In Cameroon we have more than 250 ethnic groups. This you're eating is really popular but it's just from one ethnic group. Imagine all the variance in taste and spices from all different groups and trust me, if you come to Cameroon for food, you will never ever leave again.
Never leave 😀😀😀🤏
That's why I'm still in Cameroon 😂😂😂😂

Just from one ? 😳.
Well thats new to me .
Achu = Mbouda
Eru = Bamenda ...
Puff puff = ...its like everywhere
OMG I’m a Cameroonian CZcamsr who shares my Cameroonian recipes with the world and I really love this videooo!!! Puff Puff is mainly a street snack that everyone loves, especially kids because of how affordable it is. Achu is my traditional meal and I’m so happy to see you both try it! The distinctive spice in the soup is what we call achu soup spice. The yellow soup is made of the meat stock from all the meats in the achu soup, palm oil, Nikki which is made of roasted unripe plantains skin, achu soup spices, salt & Maggie to taste. Lol I was screaming nooo when you were trying the habanero cause I knew it will be spicyy! We add cooked whole habaneros in our dishes just in case someone wants it spicy or more spicy, we don’t chew it, we press it in the food cause it has a really nice flavor that adds to the foods taste. Here’s a step by step Eru recipe czcams.com/video/uPZkcQ_U2zs/video.html to see how it’s made and what it’s made of. Eru is one of my favorite Cameroonian dishes!!
Ahah i wanted to suscribed and realise i already was
You took your time to explain so well sis,I will sub to your channel
I guess the Cameroonian diaspora is assembling in these comments. Love this!😊
I love u guys,thanks for promoting our African foods,...I'm Nigerian and I really appreciate u guys😘😘😍
The fufu is actually called water fufu in Cameroon and it is made from fermented cassava. I think the distinctive taste from the achu soup is coming from the lime stone they usually use in cooking it. Puff puff in Cameroon is usually eaten with beans and pap (bouillie in French) as breakfast.
TU CONNAIT!!! YESSS YOU ALREADY KNOW 237 pour la vie
Meckde c'est la magie 🤤🤤
There is fufu and water fufu in Cameroon. It’s made with cassava but cooked differently.
@@kikou-gx7jk fufu is not made with Cassava but rather maize
:) These dishes are more typical in the English speaking regions of Cameroon. Like someone else suggested, a must do for a round 2 of trying Cameroonian food would be ndole. Also, koki. And roasted fish with miondo or bobola. Mmmm!!
I am speechless
Mind blowing
My dear, to be honest, the way you talk about Cameroonian food show that you know a package on Cameroonian meals. If you talk about koki and by the way is bobolo and not bobola means you're an expert.#HAT
Bobola & fish🥰
Omg you explained it so well... if I knew where you live I would make some koki and ndole for you😂❤️🥰
Awww as a Cameroonian I really feel appreciated and the way they ate the food is really satisfying, finishing the whole damn thing really shows how much you guys loved and enjoyed it💕
Do a part 2, there’s so many more Cameroonian traditional foods.
Team +237 🇨🇲 where are you guys 😊?

Africa loves you ❤️🤎🙏😘am from BAMAKO MALI Republic but luv luv luv Food from Cameroun aaaahhh
Girls know that there are different types of fufu. For example, I’m from Congo, and everybody cooks it differently. There is Plantain fufu, Semolina fufu, Cassava fufu, and many others type of fufu.
I'm Jamaican and would love to try African food (from different countries ) . I'm not big on trying non traditional meats, Like Bush meat and snails etc (absolutely no offence) but as for goat, beef , chicken, seafood, yes. What I admire the most is the use of peppers cause in Jamaica we looovvee spicy food. But only issue is there's no Where that I know in Jamaica that sells African food of any kind. So sad
@@alexxalexander7409 I’m with you on that! I’m not a big fan of bushmeat, and Not everybody eats bushmeat in Africa. I’m not saying that’s what you said, but there’s sometimes a misconception about what we eat in Africa.
Yesss Im Zambian & we eat semolina or maize mill
@@kaylawyatt4499 In Congo, most people mix cassava, and Semolina fufu, and Corn with cassava fufu together.
In Cameroon we have fufu plantain( tuba or ntuba) , cassava fufu( cooked in many different styles), fufu yam , fufu corn, fufu millet etc
I was like whatttt finally Cameroon food, I miss it it's been 2 years😭😌

Love you ladies trying Cameroonian food!!! ❤️The yellow sauce for the taro dish you had is made from a palm oil base and the beignets are sweet and we eat it like snack or side dish with anything really. We typically eat the beignets with beans or for breakfast. There’s no rules on how you can eat it! 😆
As a cCameronian, I am so glad that you have love our food. The yellow gravy is made up of more than 10 dry spices
It’s grapefruit! It’s called pamplemousse!! Omg you guys tried Achu soup!!! Wow 10/10 girls! Next time try poisson braisé (grilled fish) with fried plantain, ndole (bitter leaf) and Miondo or Ekwang (coco yam I think) ooo and plantains and Koki! 😍
Keep up the great content ladies 😘
