Definitely should have talked about push/pull configuration with all these fans. I wasn't expecting a video about how to screw a fan into a case.
i mean.. if you're building a PC, you should have already researched typical push/pull configurations. generally speaking intake front and bottom, exhaust back and top - hot air rises.
@@ERhymesD Airflow will be drastically different when your case is 5 sides of mesh and this many fans possible. It's not your standard tunnel like most pc cases. The back panel being mesh changes things.
The video is titled configuration tips and tricks, not this is how screws work.
@@snoopyslryou’ve got a point lol fan configuration is exactly what I was hoping for
@@snoopyslr Maybe so but it's exactly what I was looking for. No need to be so snippy.
Agreed. Pretty useless video for me personally, was looking for fan setup configurations.
Thanks for this video. I seen alot of people including myself wonder about the 3 fan configuration at the bottom. Great vid. Just bought the case a few weeks ago. Y70 Touch all black😊
I have had this case for a few months and I get to say that while the case is cool, the software Hyte Nexus has not had any updates since release and there are some extremely annoying issues. The main issue is the software always starts up on the screen when the computer starts, as there is no start minimized feature. Secondly, since it is considered another monitor, the mouse can occasionally get lost inside their screen. Finally, the responsiveness of the touch screen is not as great as you would hope. Hopefully Hyte will correct these shortcomings soon, but as of yet I see no active development of the nexus software. For $350 I really expect much better support.
Let’s not forget the software uses a RIDICULOUS amount of CPU/GPU.
@@funnyguylolzorz totally. it has on many cases killed my virtual memory and that is after using my 64 gb of ram.
Hey, so I just built my first PC in using this case and I can 100% tell you rn that there is an option to turn off the app on start up. It's not in the start up apps, it's in the actual Hyte App itself just look around for it. It took me a while. And no it's not the settings icon up near your profile. I believe it's placed around like an actual widget next to the faces tab and stuff called settings or something. Otherwise, it's touch capabilites are pretty good, it's not gonna have PERFECT response time because it's not a $1000 phone or tablet so it was to be expected. I just use it for stuff like CZcams Music and Instagram for notifications. I wouldn't use it for something like Geometry Dash tho.
@@Brawlio13 that feedback was valuable, thank you
I love this case, I have 6 fans in push/ pull AIO / exhaust for top, had to trim a tiny bit of the plastic to make that work for the top cover to fit like normal, 3 fans on side for intake, and 3 on bottom also intake. took a minute to make 3 fit. Your way was a bit easier to be sure. I bought this case on release. i9 13900k and a 3080 ti, 64g ram(2 sticks)
Thanks for the video.
could you measure the distance between the top fan support and the beginning of the motherboard support?
You indicate 68mm in your documentation, but I have the impression that you can fit a thicker radiator + fan combination.
thx for the tips, my Y70 will be delivered tomorrow ;)
I can't wait to be able to buy it in Italy too, I will buy it as soon as it comes out and thanks for the video
hey guys, ive bout the hyte 70 non touch is there a way for an upgrade in the future? ive seen on your website the display for the y60. best regards and a rly good looking case.
Will led fans in the bottom show in any way out the bottom or up to the gpu?
Super Tips! you dont see on the other 10-20 Vids about the case. Thank you alot
guys can you do a video about E-ATX Mobos in the y70?! i ordert one for my y70 bit in a lotnof yt videos they sad you can t install a E-ATX mobo...
best case i ever build
thanks did not know that
I'm looking to add bottom fans to my y70. Thanks for the video! I just got one question for anyone who can help me. I know bottom will be intake, meaning I'll have to take my aio fans and flip them to be exhaust. Correct? Right now I have 3 120 side intakes, a 240 aio intake on top, and one 140 exhaust in the back.
Need a way to remove dust filter from top lid as it does affect air flow out of the case
I can't wait more for having mine. I bought it 2 months ago and not receive already 😢
Can’t wait to get my case! Thank you
Got the snow white case under my Christmas tree. Doing a build Christmas morning as a gift to myself. So excited.
how long did you wait for that case? mine says it wont ship until feb 29th

Thank you so much for these types of videos!
Been waiting about a month so far for the Y70 Touch to be restocked or maybe just the screen like with the Y60.
Hello! Please check out the following blog on our future plans for the Y70 if you haven't already checked it out 💛 hyte.com/blog/y70-touch-update
@@hytebrand OK, if I have to. I already did order the Y70 and I think it will be here in the next few days. I'll order the screen as soon as I am able. Thanks.
How about tips and tricks on how to actually get this case 😂. Great video
So I can't install 3 120 lian li fans on the bottom?
Can we instal 2 fans on the rear? 🤔
I was going to do 2x 120's but the 2nd one would have hung past the mesh. Maybe 2x smaller than 120's, but you could 'make' it work. I threw on a single 140 instead. I'm actually in the middle of assembling mine right now.
Could I fit 3 qx120 corsair fans at the bottom?
The Y70 supports three 120mm fans mounted at the bottom, so you can mount those at the bottom if you wish!
How many fans can it fit
You can fit up to ten 120mm fans into the Y70 or Y70 Touch! Check out our website for more tech specs and case fan mounting options!
He say there is a place to put your fingers to take the top bracket off but their not?
Missed opportunity to make vid with white version... better visible for us on screen
So, the case cones with 3 fans by default and I can add up to 6 more?
i think it came without fans
@@tordatfalviciprian5775 Thanks. I got one, no fans. Added Corsair QL120s.
@@vik12Di think to build new pc in this one have cosmos c700p but is 30 kg easyli..to heavy when i need to clean it
I own one and honestly I’d go with a different case if I were you
I have 13 fans in mine. 3 up top 120. CPU cooling came with 3 stock I took those off and replaced it w/ 3 RGB 120 then took the 3 stock fans and put it on the other side of the cooler, 1-120 on the side and 3 120 bottom. I know it's over kill

for lowering the top, i'm able to get the dowels on the lower area but when pushing down, the other side doesn't want to clear so it ends up lopsided. czcams.com/video/RBpu7BORTPI/video.htmlsi=dy2Zn7BrB_9df--o&t=56
the side you want to push down is towards the glass
Looks cool but it's a terribly inefficient case in terms of air flow and cooling.
For example the bottom fans are sandwiched between a bracket that blocks like a third of the fan's openings and then there's a space in that terrible thick criss-crossed grill.
So the air is already restricted before going into the fans especially if you put the included mesh on the bottom. Plus because of the design on the bottom it cuts off a portion of your first and third fan completely if you're using 3x 120s. On one side they have the GPU vertical mount built into the grill so on that section there are no perforations for air to get through. They also didn't make the opening on the bottom big enough to expose 100% of all three fans.. Then you have a space above the fans before even reaching that thick criss-crossed grill..
*Find somebody with a douche flute and have them blow vapor at that grill from a distance and you'll notice the vapor dissipates in every direction rather than going through the grill.
Now push your mouth right up against it and blow.. obviously the air goes straight through.*
Then you have the right hand side fans. Again they're held with that bracket that blocks airflow, then there's a space and then there's that thick grill again with a built-in mesh this time. Because that grill is not pushed up against those fans the fans are pulling air from all around themselves including The air from inside the case. They're just recycling the same heat through the case over and over.
And then we've got The terrible bracket and grill on the top too. But for some reason they decided to add an irremovable mesh to the top grill exhaust which doesn't make any f****** sense. Unless you're trying to keep the dust in your case?! And that's why apples to apples when you compare this case to all the other meta cases that have the triple bottom side and top fans; this one will come in last place every time
Well that was pointless.
Thumbs down for the nail paint 🤮
