Question for you guys. Why is Nisa releasing the games so late? I didn't get a chance to buy Zero or Ao and your translation is down. Fair enough, but with a finished translation that was already released, and a ten year old game, why is Zero releasing more than a year from now and Ao releasing more than two years from now? I'm rather pissed since I was about to buy the versions you pointed to on your site, and now I have to wait a long time to buy two decade old games that are already translated.

Update: I bought the game from Joyoland via PayPal. There are easy instructions on the Geofront website. No hesitation, those Joyoland guys are cool for working with Geofront to allow this to happen.

The end of chapter 2 (in Sen4) is much better if you've played all the games. It'll be great either way, but the rest of the characters become more prominent in the latter half of the game.

I really want to get this duology, but I'm super wary of buying from dlsite. For now I'm going to wait for E3, to see if an official English release is coming. If one isn't announced I'll take the plunge.
I felt the same way, but buying from dlsite was pretty painless. I think they also made it easier for English speakers to navigate the site recently if I'm not mistaken. It was kinda weird to buy it, but nothing bad happened and Geofront made it really easy to set the whole thing up.
For Azure though I gave up on trying to purchase it from Joyoland since it seemed like it would be much more difficult and possibly not work so i can't say much on that front

@@Darkbeast42 hmm, yeah, i'm not sure. i know i didn't have any problems with my bank, but it probably depends what bank you use. my bank hasn't raised any fuss about international purchases before, but i get that it might happen to other people. you could probably call your bank and ask them about it though.
@@AuraComedy I'm prepared to do it if I need to, but I have high hopes for a localization to be announced at either the Summer Game Festival tomorrow, or at E3. I'm optimistic since the CEO of Falcolm had an interview a couple of months ago about Switch ports and localizations ( www.frontlinejp.net/2021/03/19/falcom-ceo-kondo-talks-ports-and-localisations-zero-no-kiseki-coming-to-the-us/ ). It's possible that I'm just being hopeful, but I think it's a good sign of what's to come.
If it's not announced by the end of the Nintendo direct, I'll buy them. However I am considering buying the Kai versions on steam to support the creators, and just pirate a Geofront compatible version elsewhere. At the very least I plan to do it for Azure since I've heard some bad things about Joyoland.

I'm sure it is but don't you have to play like 7 other 70+ hour games otherwise you'll be lost? The Trails series is too intimidating, man.
@@svenbtb Azure/Ao is the 5th game in the series, so you only need to play 4 games before it, not 7.
Trails in the Sky is ~40 hours,
Sky 2 is ~50 hours,
Sky 3 is ~30 hours,
and Trails from Zero is ~40 hours.
They are all worth playing IMO. I finished them in just a few months, and I take way longer to finish games than the average player.

The og translation is a machine translation. Many are lost in context and inconsistent with the other games. Geofront translation is definitely wotth a replag

7 months late but not much, there is options for the evo stuff {evo remixes of the music and voice acting {japsnse only} thats it besides techinal stuff like resolution and ultra wide support

@@dan290786 no ive played first chapter and cold steel. all I know is the zero arc isn't playable in the U.S. as far as I know. but I've been hearing people are creating emulators to run it, am I wrong? from the video and comments I can sense the hype I'm just sure why and am trying to understand.

No, not a waste. Geofront "only" did a Patch. You still need the original game though
@@myriam7515 I downloaded the bgsetup.rar as well as the patch and the install process went through just fine. I was never asked for anything from Joyoland.

Yes, but only in Japan. If you want to play the games in English, you need a PC. If you have one, play Trails in the Sky FC first.

@@deusvlad2.083 The Trails in the Sky trilogy as well as Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure have really low system requirements. Even the crappiest PC should be able to run them.
