OK guys, in this video I am going to be teaching you a very complicated DJ transition. We are going to be using polyrhythmic mixing techniques. We are going to be using the CDJ 3000 and we will be looping 3/2 bars.
This will allow us to go from 120 BPM- 170 BPM.
If you have ever wondered how to mix between different BPM or Genres, this video will certainly help you out!
Very complicated mixing technique but I think some of you will love it!

Heya @DJPhilHarris, I came across this video and it helped greatly! Thank you. And after seeing your explanation, now I can explain the math to you if you'd like. If you don't like, stop reading now. LOL.

Before using computers (90s), I would use breakbeat/breaks records and use the 33/45 buttons for transistions from 125-130ish bpms to DnB 165-180ish tempo.

Interesting. I always think there’s only 2 ways to this kind of layering:

Nice one to use in the set's. 3/4 is the half of 3/2 ((3/4)*2=6/4) so its baisicly duble the speed, thats why it works as well 😊

Yes it is doable in the Rekordbox Software on your PC. But you need to change some settings under Controller: "Other" and then "Quantize" then set the Loop quantize from 1/1 to 1/2. 👍
