Great comparison video, and great playing. I prefer the brighter sound of the Dove, myself. But they are both awesome. 😎

I own also a hummingbird original, and always felt i should have at least tried a dove to see if the maple fitted me better with also the longer scale length,. But the bird i got is more than fine with me. i was used to shorter scale length already from past guitar i own so it worked well.. only odd thing first for a bit was getting used to the neck radius after coming from playing a taylor 412ce for 20+ years. my takamine has smaller string spacing than gibson, and makes it harder sometimes to fingerpick in my opinion. my guild is beefier neck and all but more punch as its a guild jumbo. great demo of both guitars.. i personally dig the bird!

Mic mix sounds different between the two guitars. Dove seems to have more room or cam mic

Fine test between the 2 clazziks. Shows exactly how it is :
The Bird bein' tighter therefor slightly more defined.
The Dove 'roomier' thus bass-richer and generally more generous.
Wonder what you would prefer - and if you perhaps already made a choice and have one of these fliers.
Hi - and don't hesitate to post again

Thanks for your thoughts. I personally would prefer the Dove. I like the clear trebles and round bass. Also, it seems it has a lighter attack, which makes fingerpicking easier. Also, the look is soooooo cool! I really like maple guitars and own a 1989 J-200
