Isn't this the movie that half of people predict for winning best picture the next year?
I don't buy it. I saw it two months ago and it was kinda it or miss. The message was admirable but the story was too saccharine.

@@user-dp4fq4dm7q I don't know why it's first in the odds on Gold Derby. It's probably just a lot of people not updating their predictions. I could see this film getting in at the Independent Spirit Awards but not the Oscars.

@@user-dp4fq4dm7q At the moment I think Conclave will win because it has a Focus Features behind it and has a strong cast and story and political message on religion, it also feels like Ralph Fiennes might win Best Actor. They're also many movies yet to come out.
