Interesting video. I totally see where you're coming from, I just have an issue with the semantics. When you say something like "Kelly is inflating the bet size of player prop bets", it's not Kelly's fault. Kelly is optimized under the assumption it's being fed accurate inputs. If the bet sizes turn out to be wrong, it's the fault of the inputs, not Kelly. And yes, it makes sense that your projected EVs on player props are inflated, because I would assume that it's much harder to make accurate lines on these, so your probability assumptions are less accurate than they are on main line bets.
Agreed John, if I think in the end I'll move towards following the bet size for the alternate markets totals/spreads. For player props I'll continue to take a conservative approach like you mentioned with less accurate assumptions on the sportsbooks end. You summed that up nicely!

i get limit bet in almost all australian bookmakers. are you not get any of those in UK ?
In the US I am limited on almost every single sports book but I am still able to bet quite a lot. Usually it's player prop bets that I can't bet anything on which I'm ok with.
@@BillyC24 my sportsbook almost limit me to below $10 AUD.. sad
same thing happened to me. depends on the odds but an average bet of odds 1.9 on most books i can only put $20 on. guess i got enough from them and they're salty now. onto making accounts in my girlfriends name instead 😂
So questions if you have a 47 percent chance for the bet to hit over, do you then choose the under?

Just need to see a bit more vids about oddsjam.The tings im most unsure of is how good Oddsjam would do for european bettors, i dont have any access at all to those us bookies, only europeans. Appreciate the support! What I would do first is try out the one week free trial and then you can check out what sportsbooks are available to you. That way you can have a free week before you have to make a decision.

How many bets a day do you try to make?
As many as I can, I'm happy if I can get down over 30. Most I've ever had was 62 in a day. Would love to be in that 50 range.
U bet over a million and only won 30 k? Yeah, u need a new strategy, u woukd make more just on your comps and bonuses. Positive EV is the only way to ti make money- over the long haul with sports betting.
