- Getting ready for Vintage Market Days! We needed a backdrop for our booth, so I grabbed some vintage wood frames out of my stash in my garage and painted them. I used DIY paint and patinas to give them a bit of French Country flair, and I love the way they came together!

That was a really good idea to use for a backdrop. They're beautiful. The dresser you made over looked so nice sitting there. ❤

The booth looks good. I used the same idea in a senior facility several years ago, but I hung them on floor to ceiling mirrors. It was quite uplifting for the seniors. As the seniors passed these mirrors everyday they caught their reflections in the mirror frames. They loved it. And it was very inexpensive to do. Carol from California

I'm not usually a fan of gold frames, but you made them look really pretty. They all looked so good in the grouping. You have so many beautiful things in your shop. I would want to take them all home😅😊❤

Could you have used dark and decrepid liquid patina over the goldenticket liquid patina instead of the dark wax? I am a beginner and just curious.
I honestly don't know if dark and decrepit would have made much of a difference over the gold patina . . . since it is a liquid it wouldn't have really "stayed" in the details like the wax does, though and that was what I was working toward in this case. I usually use dark and decrepit more as a stain/sealer. :)
