at least you had 3/4 of your year. My sister isnt getting anything, she is a senior right now and hasnt been able to do anything cool because of Covid.

Just seeing you all in one of the best universities in the world, yet you still are a bunch of kids it's just so wholesome and warming. Envy all of you, not just for the prestige but also for the friends that you made along the way, and I yearn to be part of a community like that.
Our semester also ended abruptly. Didn't even had the chance to have a last in-person class. We had to move out as quickly as we could. This is so heartbreaking as a senior :--(((
This is so sad. You guys got lucky that you got to move out. I’m at senior at Yale and we were informed not to come back after spring break while we were already on break.

Now I kind of felt justified and less bad for crying on the day we were forced to leave, cause people who I’m staying with rn which picked me up that day told me i was disgusting and dramatic for crying over this, I know I’m not the most affected year but GCSE is finishing for us and so many of my friends are moving abroad or to other countries after this year, so that might be our last time seeing them in a long time... anyway thx for the video, I hope everything gets better soon! I’m literally in year 11 and they have cancelled exams and the rest of the year, I’ve got 2 final days of school left
What happens to the international students? Do they just sleep on the streets?
James at my school, international students (and an other student in a very extenuating circumstance) have the choice of filling out a form that would allow them to stay on campus for the rest of their housing contract. Although with dining service being severely reduced and libraries closed most decide to fly back home. I think most schools are doing this, but not 100% sure!
I live in Atlanta and they cancel the whole school year, I wish I could have known our last day of school lol, how are you doing through this self quarantine?

That is why sending them home is the best option. At home at least their parents can knock common sense into them during this time of health crisis. Which they don't seem to comprehend and it is sad since my mom and her co workers (nurses and doctors) are having such a hard time and young people are sad for missing the rest of the school year not thinking that they too can get infected and pass it on to their friends. An 18 year old died of covid 19...no one is inmune.
