General Hera Syndulla is a perfect example of what a Rebel should be, when it comes to dealing with the Empire and the left over remnants. Shes been through multiple wars, up and downs, face death many a times, and is still here! Shes the Commander and Leader of the Ghost and Crew, til Kanan came along. . . My question to the Council alongside Mon-Mothma. Knowing her experience and reputation, why didnt they believe her when she told them about the possibility of Grand Admirals Thrawns return and the things that was going on at Correlia🤔🤔

Overconfidence in victory, I would say. Conflicting interest also, everytime the so called common enemy no longer seems a threat, it is common for alliances to fall apart due to infighting. Star wars legends had a similar storyline, with the republic being taken over by an idiot named Borsk Feyla, who nearly got admiral ackbar killed, and basically let the republic nearly be destroyed by the return of palpatine, an then actually destroyed by an alien race called the yuuzhan vong.
