Viewers: man CZcams recs is lame Star Wars Content: *Hello There!!!!*

I imagine this was more satisfying for Hayden than the Kenobi series was. Vader in the suit is, without a doubt, impactful to whatever story he’s in. But so much of that is simply how imposing the tall, wide, all-black, voiced-by-James-Earl-Jones monster he is. And the Force bad-assery he wields. The Rogue One hallway scene has him blocking blaster fire with his saber, catching blaster bolts with the force, holding people against the ceiling until he gets around to killing them with his saber… so much of that is done in post. The Kenobi scene when he grabs the escaping ship and rips away the door and engines… awesome scene… probably boring as heck to film. Kenobi did have the one flashback training scene, so Hayden did get to act using his face a little bit. But I’m glad there’s more actual live action Anakin. And I hope there is yet still more in Kenobi S2 and Ahsoka S2. Also wouldn’t mind seeing McGregor show up in Ahsoka S2. Or, better yet, Book of Boba Fett S2, with a cameo of McGregor just standing in some crowd during a flashback scene, and he does absolutely nothing. I have only one major complaint. Character aging. Hayden had the short Padawan haircut in his flashback scene, but was clearly an adult who worked out regularly. But worse than that is Katee Sackhoff. O I-WAN had a thing for Satine on Mandalore. Bo-Katan was her younger sister. And while I appreciate that Sackhoff did the voice in the animated show… Obi-Wan looked like Sir Alec Guinness when he died, and Bo-Katan looks like Katee Sackhoff, FIVE YEARS AFTER Obi-Wan’s death. Sure, she was the younger sister. And I’m sure her training regiment is pretty intense. But damn. The Ahsoka character was young enough when we first encounter her that they used a different actress for those scenes. So they need to add some crow’s feet to Sackhoff’s make-up routine. Or show some in-universe reason for her to still look that young. She’s rich… had a palace, until it got blown up. Show her home Bacta rejuv gear when they go back to the ruins, or something.

What a growth... I loved her character developpement throuhout the show and I can't wait to see more of her. Side note, she's the first child-type character in Star Wars that I liked right away (even Ezra took me some time) so I guess Dave is getting better at writing kids. Or am I just getting older and that's a paternity trait?
