I thought the same thing when reading some comments. But all in all, these are just opinions. And you can hardly argue about taste.
I really like the boat. But not everything about it. As a happy new owner, I would still not dare to change anything.
Trained designers and people with excellent taste were responsible for this boat.
This is of course not for people with bad taste or those with a common taste.
Nor would anyone with a very good taste but a different style feel comfortable here. But everyone with taste has to recognize this boat as a work of art.

@@michaelzdanis3979 Exactly. The wasteful narcissism of the uber-rich never ceases to astound me! They'll take us all down with them, but they'll have a better time. Just because you can afford it, doesn't mean you should do it. At least, not without considering the resale attributes and usefulness of an item. This ship very likely has neither. What happens to the ship when its owner gets bored or dies? When no family member will take it? Is there a trash heap of ugly yachts somewhere? At the very least, a resale likely means a complete refit, which also means excessive, unnecessary trash. The idea for this gaudy excess should have died with Liberace. It IS ugly and there's no harm in challenging rich people to stop being so wasteful and self-serving. Alternatively, I suppose a large ship like this could be used in a fleet for vacationing poor people who have bad taste, but my guess is it makes the comedy tour.

I actually really like the interior. People criticising it are the same ones who moan that every interior looks the same. This would be a perfect boat for hosting fashion industry - or design - oriented parties or for an owner who wants something unique. Its a design for someone young at heart and that's a good thing. I think it looks fantastic. Its a self effacing exterior (for a super-yacht!) and a full on ostentatious interior. Its perfectly fine to say you don't like it but never be hard hearted to something different. Different is what makes the world vivid and wonderful.

Well, you're right, it is different. And definitely not to my taste! I love the modern and simple design that comes with Princess and Sunseeker over this very loud, very Italian design - but each to his own!

5:45 After the tour of the lounge, I was somewhat disappointed to see the bridge wasn't done out all "Jules Verne" with lots of dark mahogany, brass fittings everywhere, speaking tubes, and a giant spoke wheel :) at least it had a bar....

Very opulent. Personally, it’s not my style. I like the old woodwork, especially of the steel trawler style yachts. This is very impressive though. I love your enthusiasm and the timbre of your voice. You are the Bob Ross of the yachting world my friend.

    Thank you!

It's like a speakeasy come to life. The tile work in the showers is awesome. I have that effect on women too, they just glare at me. I believe the girl, now grown up, in the picture is the dancer that has been in all the Sia videos. Thanks again for another outstanding tour.

Great tour Nick! From the the first shot of the interior, I thought I wouldn't like this one, but I was dead wrong. Some of the classic details in this boat make it feel warm, and unique. I fear some of the major manufactures are starting to produce products that look too similar. This was a breath of fresh air, that even if you don't like the style, you can certainly appreciate the attention to detail. Cheers!

The Sun King Louis 15 would not have felt out of place here. Amazingly decorated boat, for guests owner in all their areas
The pilot house almost looks sparse but very business like. The kitchen and crew areas look comfortable but the engine room is a cathedral to power for an off shore boat. A lovely graceful Lady of the Sea with power.
