i remember when i first saw the music video for this song so many years ago when i was 16 and thought it was a fun silly song. i hadnt realised i was gay yet. i had accepted gay ppl but didnt want to accept it in myself. some 10+ years later and very comfortable in my lesbian identity and this song comes up on my spotify discover weekly of all things and i just burst into tears and sing this song so loud as im cleaning my house. thank you for making this song such a core memory of my journey, and definitely many others.
