When I was 11 in 6th grade Marc came to my school and gave the same speech. This video felt the same way it did in that auditorium 4 years ago and I still remember every part to this day.

I remember probably 8ish years or so back Marc came to my high school… I had never struggled with anxiety or depression at that point in my life but he was still an amazing speaker that resonated with me even back then at a young age. Going back and watching a similar speech of his now that I am an adult and have struggled with serious depression and anxiety in the past, this just hits so much different 🙌🏻🥹

I miss my best friend. I miss him so much. He promised me he'd visit but he moved the fall before covid hit. Now I think of him so much because I miss him and I want him to be okay . He was my best friend, my first crush at one point. He made me learn to ride a bike because it took me until I was 10. He helped me learn to tie my shoes, that's how long we were friends. He was my first real friend.
It's weird and sad that I remember so clearly times that we hung out but now I look back and think "What would he say of me now?"

yeah but there's kinda a thing called school where we spent 6-8 hours in school and then along with piles of schoolwork and hw and extra hours of tutoring, lessons, extracurricular activities, also don't forgot how we have to study for tests and exams and if we don't hpget good grades we get in trouble.

this was suggested to me for a year, and after watching this video i saw that this video was very inspiring. i cried a lot. this shows that our moms need more respect.
I dont think anyone will see this but, when i was younger, me and my father got in a fight, then he went off to work, he was building a house (he was a construction worker). It was a two story house. He was working on the roof when... he fell off. He landed on his head, he somehow survived the tragic accident, but he had to learn everything over again. Its one of the saddest things to see when you watch your father learn every single thing over AGAIN. I am super lucky he is alive. So for everyone out there, try to make up for any fight, no matter who is in the wrong. Anything could happen. Life is too short for fights and arguments.
Edit: I came back because I wanted you guys to know, my father is doing the best he has his whole life. I find a way to cherish every moment with him while i can! He said that after his injury he saw God, and god told him that he had to stay and see me grow. And that keeps me going.
I feel you. My father also had something similar with electricity that kills a bull. He was also working in construction near an electric tower and he fell. He passed away several times and also came back to life over and over again. He ended up dying but an awesome woman decided to bump the voltages a bit up and he was brought to life once again. He was in a comma for a long time and he had fo learn how to do everything AGAIN like your father. Luckily I was 4 and ai didnt see anything but Im thankful to God for letting me have my father next to me. Hioe the best for yall.

and i realised the porblem of time losing and i realised my parent are aging months ago,so i've decided to be more active in font of my parents and try to make them happy,i realised that seeing their smile everyday might be common but you can't see it anymore after so i cherish my time with my parents everyday. i sugeest everyone to start to cherish the time you are with your parent. thats all,have a nice day...with your parents.

this hits hard. i just got home from my dads cousins funeral. she died at 36 years old, no known cause. it kinda makes you think, this could be my last moment. you never know. she had 4 kids, a fiancé, a brother, a family that loved her so much. i only have a few memories of her, playing kickball and volleyball with me in the yard. she loved me. she had so much love to give. appreciate every second you have on this earth. it could be your last. live every moment, as if it would never happen again. right now, all i ask of anyone reading this, go give someone you love a hug.
This is why I love my parents so much. Many teenagers just talk crap about their parents, but I’m not one of those.

BluMac. I love my parents too, and I’ve never actually tried or wanted to try drugs or anything because they don’t really set any limits for me to push. (Like, they understand that teens need space and all of that, so they don’t bother me unless I deserve it I guess.) I’m just too scared to hurt them by making them angry or disobeying them...
While I don’t know the lives of others, I don’t understand why so many people hate their parents. I know some people have horrible parents and all, but some kids have the nicest parents and take them for granted... 😔😔😔

i lost my mom 3 years ago and seeing this makes me feel not alone i can relate, i remember crying so hard saying sorry over and over and over again and thats how i fell asleep every night thinking about how stupid i was i get memories of her often and it makes me wanna break down in tears i was not expecting to cry so hard in this video. This has recently been one of my biggest fear, I know I will face it anyway because it’s God’s willing, but I feel so down at the thought of losing my mom. That’s why every day God gives me, I try to spend more and more time with her, and really cherish these moments
