Very good points. Some people do not share their mistakes. But you did honestly which is so valuable. Thank you.

How do you make the engagement letter legally binding ?

I am not an attorney so I can't answer that. Perhaps you should check with an attorney in your area.

Im just starting and I was wondering if getting a liabilty insurance is a must? Whats are your thoughts?

Hi Kim. I don't necessarily think that professional liability insurance is a must starting out. Focus on getting clients first. After you get clients and are in business a few months to a year, you may want to consider getting professional liability insurance.

I remember that you mentioned that you started your business hard way without seeking consultant. Did you, eventually? If yes, what helped the most from the consulting?

Hi. That's a great question. I have never sought the help from a consultant or coach. I just figured things out as I went along. I also focused on continually improving myself in all aspects of my life and I focused on letting go of my fears.

@@5MinuteBookkeeping Thanks. Did you run a full service as a CPA including bookkeeping and tax preparation and planning when you started?
