Funny enough, on the day this video was released, Horizons blessed us.
I feel like Baby Terapagos is the Carbink of this gen, the book one is a "Mega".
10, 50 and 100% forms. All of them can easily be inside everyone's Tera Orbs.
You can't catch them since they're being merged/armored to another mon.
It's a nice twist to the Zygarde Cells concept, and a cool foreshadowing too.
BabyPagos (or as I like to call it - Teruga) is said to be in the overall DLC.
They don't say Teal Mask or Indigo Disk, but yes Hidden Treasures Area Zero.
It's hidden within sight, inside all Tera Orbs, we might see them in Kitakami.
Maye ours will exit the Tera Orb or maybe it'll detatch from Ogerpon's Mask.
Notice how Ogerpon's eyes are crystal and flashy like those of the AI Prof's.

the treasures of ruin are actually counterparts to the forces of nature quartet. the forces of nature quartet are based on the four auspicious beasts, (vermillion bird, azure dragon, white tiger and black tortoise) and the treasures of ruin are based on the four perils, which are basically the evil counterpart to the four auspicious beasts.

12:50 that’s the point, is it not? They’re meant to be Paradoxes, not ancestors/descendants. There’s a reason they make no sense realistically, just like Roaring moon couldn’t possibly look like mega salamence had roaring moon been a real Pokémon in the past, same with Walking Wake
Also with the fusion point, Zygarde is technically a fusion of all the Zygarde cells, so if we count Calyrex then that’s every generation since 5 with some form of fusion

    • @CreativitySkys
      @CreativitySkys Před rokem +1

I still quite heavily believe and have some theories on why these paradoxes actually are from the future and past
*Now I can only say for past paradoxes since I have scarlet and not violet*
      1. is due to them resembling the past version of the present-day pokemon.
      2. As most people said that Roaring moon resembles mega salamance, and according to some mega, pokemon entries, mega evolution turns them into something they looked like in the past.
      3. The great tusk with the explorers can be easily explained in that sometimes the time machine would malfunction and not fully send pokemon to the present.
      4. The reason they are called *"Paradoxes"* is because bringing something from the past to the present or future could really alter the future, and this altering is what caused
Scream tail to evolve into jigglypuff
      Roaring moon to salamance
      Flutter mane to misdrevoius
The bringing of the present-day could change the geans of the pokemon and alter their looks and personality

In my opinion, I have some issues with the dream theory. But to explain why, it requires certain explanations based on what we know from the game:
As far as I can tell and contrary to what some people think, paradox pokemon are NOT related to the pokemon from current times.
The paradox pokemon are essentially convergent evolutions taken from another point in time (the very distant past or the very distant future) that just happen to look similar to pokemon from current times but have no relation to them.
To further prove this, if you notice, just like the convergent evolutions from current times shown in the games (like wiglett or toedscool), the paradox pokemon are shown with their own pokedex entries separated from the pokemon they resemble (like diglett and tentacool), unlike things like regional forms or regional evolutions in other gens that are usually just added in the same pokedex entry. This is most likely to differenciate them from the pokemon they resemble and show that they´re indeed unrelated pokemon despite their similarities and that they just happen to look similar to the pokemon in current times. It´s definitely not any coincidence that the concept of convergent evolutions was introduced in the same gen that paradox pokemon did.
The paradox part comes from the fact that Sada and Turo invented the time machine but that in itself is a paradox because that only happened because they got obsessed with those creatures thanks to the scarlet/violet book that described the encounter of the first area zero expedition team with them 200 years ago. So, the book has info about those creatures way before Sada and Turo invented the time machine that brought them in the first place. So how is that possible?
The most likely explanation is that someone with a time machine (most likely AI Sada and AI Turo) kept time traveling to certain points in time (after they left at the end of the game) and made sure that the first expedition that went to area zero could see some paradox pokemon. This eventually led to the creation of the scarlet/violet book and thus also led to real Sada and Turo getting obsessed with the creatures from the book and eventually, to the creation of the time machine that brought the paradox pokemon to the present in the first place. Starting the cycle once again.
That´s why they´re called "paradox pokemon", because due to the fact that the whole timeline is a loop, the moment where the paradox pokemon and the scarlet/violet book first appeared doesn´t have a clear point of origin. It´s basicaly a boostrap paradox. Not to mention that why would the developers would give a time related classification to a set of pokemon that doesn´t have anything to do with time travel?
You also need to remember that real Sada and Turo are like, super geniuses. Heck, the professors were the ones that developed the technology to use terastalization in battle. They knew exactly with what they were dealing with. They´re the only ones that managed such a feat. So it´s far more likely that the professors built the AI versions of themselves, the paradise protocol, created applications for terastalization in pokemon battles and the time machine BECAUSE they were able to understand how terastalization works. They created the entire paradise protocol that rules over their AI versions. Even the AI professors mention this in the game. And it's even implied in the game that director Clavel realized that Sada/Turo succeeded in the creation of a time machine in his dialogues.
The whole "imagination" theory is just speculation that emerged from fans from one of the four options in a poll from Riddler Khu's comments on twitter and at the moment, there's not a lot of evidence supporting it other than fan desire.
To say that it likely "isn't actually a time machine" is honestly jumping a lot of hoops. A time machine in and of itself can explain the paradox pokemon (that as I said, are more likely just convergent evolutions taken from their original timelines), so those assumptions aren´t factoring that in at all. If the time machine activated again (after AI Sada and Turo left to their desired timelines) and started sending pokemon to the past/future, boom, it explains how the paradox pokemon ended up in Heath's era.
There's nothing in the game that indicates that these pokemon are the products of imagination, nothing. The only thing that more or less hinted at that posibility was the chimera beast/swords. But given that they appeared vastly differently than they did in the book, and not as amalgams, this blew the kneecaps out of that theory. If the imagination theory was valid, pictures in the book should be molding the mental images, so those pictures should look nearly identical to what is seen - since walking wake and iron leaves don't look like their pictures, the imagination theory just doesn't work, as there must be something else causing these pokemon to appear that isn't something dreamed of or imagined from the books.
Futhermore, even if you wanted to claim that walking wake and iron leaves are indeed accurate depictions of what was shown in the books, Heath 200 years ago should not be imagining the future pokemon as chrome and computer screens. Those kinds of things didn't exist in his time, and his vision of the future should have been extremely steampunk in concept, as the future to someone in that era would have been something like the industrial revolution. This means that there's even less credence to the imagination theory, because Heath couldn't have had the frame of reference to imagine the future paradoxes as they are actually depicted in the game, if they were derived from the imagination.
If I had to add ANY connection to terapagos to the time machine, that would be just as the source of the energy that allows the terastalize phenomenon. Similar to necrozma with the z-moves and eternatus with the dynamax/gmax energy. Which in all honestly, seems like a far more realistic posibility and works better with what we actually know so far from the games.
Sorry for the ridiculously long comment. I tend to write a lot sometimes XD. But I really wanted to give my perspective over this topic.

The mountain range that may be based on the Pyrenees has other similarities too. For one, there are myths of a dragon-like being in area, and in the games there are a lot of dragon trainers. There are also cultural myths about bears being sacred, and you can find Ursaring all over the area as well.

Yeah here is some thing to go with your theories on Terapagos since the DLCs dropped.
The image that Heath saw of the turtle was it's "tera form".
Seeing it sit uptop a globe with the hexagons orbiting around it with the ground in the center of it's shell.
It would be like if King Arthur saw Wing Zero from Gundam Wing as a walking giant knight.
    Pure speculation.
Also, the concept of Area Zero and the "imagination theory". This game was in development at the time a horror movie was out in 2019, Annihilation.
Both had some strange concepts and almost run parallel.

They HAVE gone out of their way to place mons in a specific number before. Archeops is exactly NatDex 567 to match with his 567BST and the index number in something about a fossil record, where 567 reffers to a fossil of the species Archeops is based (Archeopteryx, iirc)
This isn't the first time they place a mon near the end of their Regional Dex neither (where usually most Legendaries are).
Dragonite is placed between the Bird Trio and M2.
Tyranitar is placed between the Beast Trio and Ho-oh/Lugia.
The Gen4 Dex is a mess, having Garchomp like 2/3 or half way, while a crap ton of the New Evos (+Rotom) where placed after but before the Legendary.
Gen5 had Victini before the Grass Starter, and Hydreigon was placed before Volcarona, and after them then Legendaries. So effectively the entire Dex of normal mons are placed between the regional Mythicals.
In Gen6, a piece of garbage such as Avalugg is placed closer to the Life Trio than Goodra.
Gen 7 is a whole other mess. They have Sylvally (Legendary) slap in the middle of the Dex, then followed by many normal mons, then most Legendary (Tapus and Cosmog), then the SuMo UBs, then Necrozma and some Mythical, then the USUM UBs, then Zeraora. UBs aren't Legendary, yet they got placed at the end because they are group of special mons.
The general rule is that any special mons is added at the end, that's why the Dex always ends with the Legendary and Muthical. It makes perfect sense that they would add Gholdengo near the end, since it's a special pokemon just the same as they usually do with Pseudos, UBs, and Paradox pokemon.

Ok that's a lot of words so I'm going to respond bit by bit
      I didn't know that that's a pretty cool fact
I said the late dex slots get reserved for special mons and the ones you listed for gens 1-5 are all special for one of or another. I agree with the stuff you said about Kalos and Alola, but I don't agree on the Gholdengo point. What's special about it?

    • @jvbon646
      @jvbon646 Před rokem +1

      @@thwampYT
First, the 550BST is the closest we have to any actual second "Pseudo Legendary" arquetype, as shown with Volcarona (who is placed closer to Legendary than Hydreigon). They seem to like this for mons that they want to be powerful, but not part of the Pseudo arquetype.
Second, it's whole theme is related to the number 1,000. Ghimmighoul is No.999, and it need 999 coins to evolve. 999 + the 1 coin that every Ghimmighoul always holds = 1K = Gholdengo placed as No. 1000. The same way Archeops was placed 567 only because it's desing and inspiration ate related to the number 567. Also now that I think about it, wasn't Spiritomb No108 in the Shinnoh Dex? Which would make sense since it's also designed around the number 108.
Third, and partly related to the previous point, it was literally made to celebrate Pokemon reaching the 1K mark. It was clearly made to be special from the start. That's why they gave it great Typing, great BST and Stats spread, a busted Ability, and a good Movepool. The "celebration of a milestone" is already more than enough justification for them to place it at 1K.
PS: On the topic of giving a specific number to a mon, I've alwayd belived that they new exactly what they were doing when they made No666 Vivillion, the "cute little bug that looks inofensive and not evil" 🤣
GF going all "Nothing to see here, christians. We could've made a menacing Dark Type, but we didn't cuz we aren't satanic"

The biggest oddity in Paldea isn’t even specific to Paldea alone, ever since Generation 6 we’ve had Generational Gimmicks that are in some way tied to an oddly alien looking legendary, crystals, and hexagonal shapes.
It’s like there’s some manner of unaddressed reality-warping entities that are interlopers to the Pokémon world rather than Arceus-derivatives.
And that’s without talking about the possibility that Chairman Rose may have made things easier for the player and crippled Eternamax-form Eternatus by being an impatient moron.
