Have you considered having the contraceptive injection? If your periods are so bad, I honestly think that would be the best option for you. It stops your body from producing eggs, which stops your periods. And with that, all the other crappy things that come with it stop too, it's heaven! x

I know success isn't measured by the size of your following etc etc but HOW do you have just 6,000 subscribers? Hi Meg! I have the same problem with earrings. It must be some kind of allergy to those cheap materials. I usually cover the bit that goes into the ear with clear nail polish and once it's dry it doesn't hurt or itch or irritate. Try it and let me know :)
As for your pains have you ever considered getting on the pill? I have always had problems with periods and that is the only thing that's helped. However I have to stop it every now and then, it makes my hormones go crazy in the long time (I stopped after a year and a half but I'm considering going back to it).

Hi lovely! I am making a playlist and I like to catch up on all your recent videos. I don't know if this happens to you but its not that I didn't already see your videos, but that I get FIBRO-BRAIN and if I only watch one vlog then I feel kinda lost. So I like to make a little list and watch the last few ones back to back (AGAIN....lol) and that's what I mean by catch up. I guess it really means my brain rewinding and re-watching. Thought I'd share why I always say "catching up on your videos"..... that's what I mean. lol But its great because why not watch them all a few times over, right? Its a nice experience that way to refresh my meg memories by watching again. Imagine how many views you'd have if everyone had fibro-brain. Haha
So glad you uploaded this! I don't even care that the quality isn't perfect. Question though, have you ever been checked for Endometriosis? I have HORRIBLE periods as well, as well as pretty much constant pain around my ovaries now so I'm at the point where I am going to have exploratory surgery to confirm endometriosis. You sound like you may be having some of those symptoms!

I know the contraceptive pill isn't for everyone and I can appreciate that, however just wondering if you've considered it as a means to helping with your heavy periods? I take the mini pill (recommended for migraine sufferers as opposed to taking the combined pill) and I no longer have periods or any symptoms of the sort. It is fantastic and my migraines have also massively reduced x

Hope you are feeling better now and getting through your awful experience you mentioned. Thank you for the update on your medication. I have taken something similar in the past called noristerone and found it does exactly what it should in delaying my period but I tend to get a worse period after when it comes. Glad you had a good experience and you had a good holiday!

You've probably already done this but just in case if you go into the menu & settings on your camera and then go to recording section there is usually an option for what quality / size it is filming in, it may just be on the wrong setting x

I'm glad the medication worked for you so you could enjoy your holiday as much as possible! Has your doctor ever prescribed mefenamic acid? I had terrible periods in my teens (super heavy & long, awful cramps & sickness, days off school etc) and when I started mefenamic acid at 16 it really made a difference - you take it 2-3 times a day on your heaviest days and it reduces the flow and also takes away some of the discomfort. It wasn't doing quite enough for me, so I also started on a contraceptive pill (microgynon 30) which made my periods regular as clockwork, much lighter and much less painful, and combined with using mefenamic acid they barely bother me now :) sorry to hear you went through something very difficult just before your holiday - I hope you're ok and I'm really glad that Will's been taking care of you :)
I've just realised that sounds like I'm minimising the pain you go through and making it sound like it could be easily solved! I definitely wasn't, I just thought I'd mention what worked for me in case it helps you at all :-)
I was actually quite intrigued when you said you were going to take those pills, I took them many years ago when I was about 14 (23 now) and my doctor at the time told me they will literally only stop bleeding, I'd still experience all of my other period symptoms so don't expect to feel perfect. They're basically just for the convenience if not having to worry about changing when you're out or leaking or whatever, he told me I'd still get bloating, pain, fatigue, nausea and all of that fun stuff. I've got a wedding this summer and I'm wearing a cream outfit, was thinking about getting them again so I was very curious about whether they were any better now.
I wouldn't have noticed there was something wrong with the video unless you had mentioned it, Meg! I mean yeah it looked a bit gray but other than that it was fine xx Don't put too much pressure on yourself!
I had the same problem meg! And a friend of mine told me that the editingprogramm makes the quality bad while you edite but when the video is done the quality is normal again. (The reason for that is that otherwise the editingprogramm goes really slow. I don't know if this is happening to you? But nonetheless I really enjoyed the vlog! Hi Meg, before I was on the contraceptive Pill I took a similar pill to prevent my period called Norethisterone (I think) which did the same thing but was only 1 tablet a day - this might be something to look at next time? Also, I'm sure there's a reason and you've thought about this already but going on the Pill really did give me some control over my periods. They are much lighter and only painful the day I come on. It also means if I finish a packet and don't want to come onto my period, Drs say it is ok to back to back the packets for up to 3 packets (9 weeks). I can usually only do 2 and if I do 3 I get breakthrough bleeding, but even then a period every two months is ok and more manageable!

Didn't really notice an issue with the quality, as honestly I watch your videos for your chatter. Perhaps wearing silver and gold earrings will help (not just silver plated), as I know that works for most people with sensitive ears.
Meg your so bloody cute 😍 p.s period problems I'm the same too I got diagnosed with endometriosis in Feb and had an op to remove it the pain isn't half as bad. I take tablets for pain and bleeding called mefanamic acid they are a life saver! Xx

Have you tried the pill? I had awful periods where I would often faint. I'm on a low dose pill and it's been amazing. I did try the coil and that was awful as my body rejected it. Would 100% recommend trying the pill.

my ears are the same - I can only wear pure gold or silver earrings and everything else irritates the earlobes.
try using nickel-free earrings or just real silver or gold. lots of love xxxx

Maybe you just can't wear earrings that are not made of real gold or silver? When I was younger I used to have this problem, only gold earrings wouldn't irritate my ears. Have a lovely day :)
