My best part is when she said: “more exciting projects to come” 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Such great style! Can't wait to see 😁
People need to stop hating on this pantry “second kitchen” I would love this especially for holidays and parties!
I believe the people having a problem, maybe they can’t afford to have their dream home. Something may be going on in their life, where they can’t see that this is needed. I would love this one day. I’m over here looking for an apartment because my lease is up soon!
I can’t wait for the day, when I can afford a home of my own. I’m tired of renting got darn it🤨😂 I keep trying to find a place with a French door bottom freezer. Because I hate the side by side refrigerator. I shop and food prep a lot and people can’t understand my need for a pull out freezer fridge and gas stove. Just like they can’t see the need for a second kitchen. 🤷🏽♀️ excuse me pantry lol.
You only live once, be happy! I can’t share my dreams or thoughts with everyone because the negative self talk is real! Seeing this just motivates me. I’m single, doing this alone, so I know it’s going to take me a while, but God wants us to have an abundant life!
@@lifeisbeautiful9455 obviously people can do whatever they want...but having plenty of money to waste in useless rooms doesn’t mean you have class, taste or intelligence...most people appreciate efficient ideas from decorators, and not everyone is a fan of over the top wasteful trends, that’s not negativity, is just a difference in opinions. Some people find it tacky, others get in debt to emulate what they think is a sign of success.
@@lifeisbeautiful9455 As a designer I feel this is beautiful but incredibly wasteful. Implying to people that you need this is ridiculous.
@@paulifaktor344 I'd like to know where Shea implied that anyone needs to get this pantry. She is literally just showing us what's in her home, which she didn't need to do.
This pantry works for her and her family's needs. Is it necessary for all? No and she never says or implies that it is.
One thing I will never understand about the internet is the need to be negative about someone else's joy. It's so weird.
That's not a pantry; that's a kitchen next to another kitchen.
Display kitchen and practical kitchen it is🤗
My thoughts exactly 😂
Same thoughts, it's the average family's kitchen 😂
Ridicoulous
This is the kitchen you use so when people come by, your “kitchen” is always spotless. Cheating at its best. 😁
I feel like the La Canche and La Cornue ranges are more status symbols than anything at this point. No shade, but I can't imagine having that big beautiful island and gorgeous range and opting to bake in the more cramped pantry where there's limited counter space and I have to wash dirty bowls and utensils by hand because the dishwasher's in the kitchen. Congrats on their success and their ability to build their dream home, but I think this video highlights that their designs are more for aesthetic than functionality. Who wants such a massive kitchen where the white carrara marble on the island and behind the range need to stay pristine, and have to literally build a closet where I can do most of my heavy cooking on a sturdy (and cramped) butcher block countertop that can handle the demands of regular cooking and baking? There are literally *four* ovens in that home and only one is used and another partially used.
you jealous or something! LOL I watched this because we are adding a butlers pantry to our new home, they are very practical, hence the come back they are making in our modern lives... reasons we have opted for one is, so we can hide all our everyday lives from visitors, yet still have a tidy beautiful kitchen on display.. kitchens are so open these days, no way could we keep it tidy on a 24/7 run kitchen... also gives us room to separate food items & appliances... like the idea for larger cooking with the more ovens... but I would be concerned about the butlers pantry getting over heated in such a tiny space needed in a butler's pantry!?
Extra smallish stove would be handy though... like the idea of the microwave being in the butlers pantry too!
Some really great ideas worth considering on this video... :-)
In the Philippines we call that our 'dirty' kitchen which means it's the kitchen most used and can make a mess but not keep it a mess.
Yeah i can relate..I also live in Philippines too
#TayoAyPilipino
That's exactly why we want to have one added in our build!
I love this pantry! It is exactly how I would do a butler's pantry if given the chance...but I would also add a small beverage cooler with varying temps for water, soda, wine, etc. Beautiful job!
The dark bench top looks lovely and tying it into the main island was very clever. I would love to see a night time shot of how well the lighting works in this space too. The snack draw is genius.
I love how you can incorporate different styles into one great space, and I think diversity helps it really become a home 🥰
It looks really nice ...but I don't understand why there is a kitchen with in a kitchen? ? Why not cook in your larger kitchen. ...why the need for two ???
I totally understand your point but I think the small pantry kitchen is so you can have unsightly appliances set up on the counter at all times. Moving a heavy kitchen aid mixer for example can be a pain. If you love the uncluttered countertop look in the main kitchen then this pantry is the answer. A total luxury of course!
i love how you actually thought about function over aesthetic (even tho your pantry is stunning)
Its a science 🤣
I am having a hard time understanding why anyone would ever need not only an oversized stove with what seems like 6 burners and 2 ovens in the kitchen, but an extra 2 (!!) ovens in the pantry (plus microwave). And normalizing living like this just encourages the more is mooore mindset, which we all know is not ideal if we want to live sustainably (as a mindset but also quite literally as the extra appliances use electricity constantly even if off, plus of course the resources going into producing them and resources to deal with them once they become waste when you move to even bigger home with even bigger kitchen with more pantries and more new appliances) i wish you as a designer not only of your home but homes of others would encourage living more sustainably, especially because it seems you do have the means to do so for your own home, but also have the power to decide on materials and sustainable design processes for clients as well. I never ever comment on anything but this big and bigger mindset that architects and designers promote is really not something we should subscribe to
I understand that people want a space like this if they have the means to build it, I just feel like it's important to acknowledge the sustainability aspect of it, especially for someone designing other people's homes. There is a uniquely American 'everything is bigger' which makes sense because there just is more space than in Europe for instance (where I have never seen a pantry this size) - but let's not make it seem like this is the standard or even should be the standard. Spaces like this are just unrealistic for 99% of people, even if they live in the US, and that's not necessarily a bad thing!
I see the frustrated "that's another kitchen" comments and I feel like that's where those comments are coming from - lacking acknowledgement of the over the top consumption that such a pantry represents (that is so very American).
It's a beautiful pantry for sure, and I don't think the McGees are wrong for using their hard work to build a dream house where they have everything they want, good for them! But there is definitely a broader discussion to be had about building sustainable and minimalistic homes.
I'm going to assume you have never tried cooking a turkey, baking pies and making cookies all at the same time? If you can afford it and having room, extra ovens are a must for a large family who entertains on all the holidays. Trying to get everything cooked in only one over on holidays is a nightmare and you end up spending all your time in the kitchen instead of with family.
not your business do you want to have all the stuff in the kitchen and let them be that means they can afford it and if you’re jealous just say so you don’t got a hate just because you don’t have all those nice stuff
the way you utilized the space on the sides of the over is genius!
I absolutely love this pantry! Every detail is so well thought out.
Your kitchen and pantry are perfection! I love how you carried the dark stain onto the butcher block counter top.
Love wood counters!
very beautiful. I love how you make the dark stain blend and with contract to your very light rooms. You have a very unique yet beautiful style. Love your target line !
Absolutely fantastic kitchen and pantry. Congratulations ✨
Why does she has an oven in the pantry when she has that huge range in the kitchen?
To bake secret snacks 🙃
She actually has 2 ovens in the pantry 🤦🤦🤦. This is excessive.
Because she doesn't cook so she doesn't know what is was but it looked nice and she had enough money in her bra to buy it cash and flash
I love how you covered snacks in those dark navy bins and that pot holder is perfect 😍
I think of a pantry (chef's kitchen) as a messy place for those special events. When you need extra space to cook and store food items. I love having a pantry in my house. I hope you could help me design my house. I love your decor style.
i would love to see what is stored in each cabinet/drawer! - what goes where in this layout!
love it
Absolutely beautiful pantry.
I am in love. I want everything in that pantry.
It looks like small kitchen inside the big kitchen. I am not sure why there is a sink in there. Is that common in USA?
I have no clue, either. I see lots of american pantry videos and never saw that before.
A wok kitchen, seems like another kitchen, you can see them in big houses of N America
Nothing is common about this house!
nothing about this “pantry” is common in the US except maybe shelves with food.
after waiting for quite long time finally another McGee Home tour😍
Beautiful kitchen, the decoration, the color the style all
Absolutely stunning! It’s not a big space but seems large! Great design aesthetic! ❤️
That's not a pantry that's a full kitchen. There are studio apartments with smaller kitchens than your pantry.
yeah mine for example :D though I don't live in a studio, I share 700sqft and 3 rooms with my partner
3 story 3 bedroom houses with smaller kitchens than their pantry*
lmao like mine😓🤧
Pantry looks amazing, love it!
That beautiful Atlas pepper mill...I bought it a couple of months ago and it is the prettiest thing in the kitchen!💗🌺
Oh my gosh your pantry thought! Awesome! Keep up the fabulous work!
Your kitchen has a kitchen.
Beautiful but why have that huge gorgeous kitchen to use the pantry more
The kitchen is just for show
Beautiful pantry, nice size and very stylized. Mine would look a lot different. I would have it filled with all of the different canning I would do plus the fermenting, and I would definitely have a curing cabinet for doing my own homemade cured meats. To me a great pantry is something that’s just filled with homemade food. Don’t get me wrong. Yours looks very pretty and organized. It’s just so much different to what I would have.
The pantry episode is a very practical inspiring piece for a kitchen
Is it just me or you guys notice she have a way of talking and saying words? Love it
Best pantry ever 🤍
My dream pantry 🤩
So pretty
Love it! So fresh, clean and organized.
Even the pantry is gorgeous. Mine!
I’m surprised in American homes you don’t see a tap/fixture that has instant ‘sparkling/chilled/filtered/hot water’ as it not only makes life easier but it also cuts down on buying bottles.
Yes, I love this feature I've seen in European kitchens. Would love to incorporate this in ours :)
When I grew up my parents kept the snacks on the top shelf in one of the kitchen cabinets, if I wanted a snack I would have to quietly climb the counter top while my sister acted as a look out for our parents but in this house they keep it in the bottom drawer for easy access lol.
Absolutely beautiful pantry! For some it's not a pantry, but who defines it anyway? You wanna call it it a pantry and so be it! Gorgeous as always.
My dream pantry
Tell me about it!
@@KadilakHomes Well I've subscribed to your channel...l have a passion for interior designing
Can you post links where you bought your storage baskets, totes, bins, etc.? I notice some items from The Container Store, but it would be great to see where you got all of them. Currently renovating our entire home and super excited to organize our pantries.
Hi, I saw your comment and I’m the queen of sourcing so I went ahead and found everything in the video for you. If you provide an email address I can send everything right on over! 😃
I love everything about studio McGee,but this one, hmm, not so much, design is amazing as always, but pointless, for me that's the kitchen next to the kitchen, one more room for cleaning plus with such amazing main kitchen, what's the point to have second one, because that is not what we called a pantry
I think it's rly practical for a house this size, and one that hosts a lot. You don't always want all your clutter and mess to be visible, especially when your main kitchen is in the same room as your living and dining. This gives a place where kitchen noises won't fill the home, and where dirty dishes can go when your guests arrive, and also for a hell of a lot of storage.
@@jonathanfoster4202 so what's the point of having open plan
@@barbaracogiel3224 Having the casual living be connected with the kitchen makes sense for hosting gatherings, so that everyone can be together and easily move around in that one social space. The main kitchen is still a great place for people to mill about, with those bar stools for seating, and the fridge is right there too for drinks and stuff. When you divide the casual spaces up into small rooms, it inhibits the natural flow of conversations and movement that happen when you have a number of people in your home.
@@barbaracogiel3224 Most standard builds these days are open plan... it's nice, but a bit of a pain unless you have a separate reception or main lounge & dinning area.
I love your kitchen and pantry I wish I had one like it:) I love your Netflix show so much:) you brighten up the dark days:)
Such kind words ❤️
@@KadilakHomes Thanks
It looks amazing!
Love your style and incredible designs. I want to know where you get your cute outfits? Can you share your top in this video? I look forward to all of your upcoming videos. Thank you in advance
This is so gorgeous! Looking forward to one day having a walk-in pantry that hides everything else that typically makes your kitchen a disaster. Although, I thought in the kitchen video you mentioned that the walls were Swiss Coffee 75% and the cabinets were Creamy?
A pantry is a lifesaver 🤣
Well organized.
Stunning!
So beautiful very very neat I Love it so much !! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I know so neat!
May I pleaseee have your pantry?! Haha just kidding I LOVE it! Have a nice day every one!
It’s like a little kitchen! Sooo beautiful 😍
@@monicaliliosunalopez6781 I know righy
It is a must have!
Love the pantry. Also love your blouse! You have flawless taste🙂
Thank you!
love your pantry shea !!!
It's so beautiful! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
agreed!!
You guys are so amazing!!! I love y’all
what's with the negative comments about the pantry being the 'second kitchen'? I guess they haven't seen Malaysian house where the needs of having both dry and wet kitchen are a must! especially with the types of food that we cook.
That's a fabulous pantry. TFS :-)
I love the Swiss coffee color on your cabinets. I’m wondering if it would be a good white in a low light north facing bedroom. So scared to commit!
Do it!! you can make anything beautiful
Absolutely beautiful. Just wondered if you have the dimensions for your pantry? And are you happy with that size?
Vocal fry, anyone?
and uptalk
I mean this is a kitchen within a kitchen, not a pantry wtf
beautifuuulll 💗💗
Bonjour i love so much your pantry and specially thé peper ginger and salt s'il vous plaît share with us all your items organisation you have in your pantry boxes baskets all your pantry is thé best fulllllllll like From France bonne continuation
How wide is your pocket door? It looks slightly narrow, like a 2’8”. Also, I love how you hid your microwave along w other appliances there. Thoughts on also putting the fridge in there? We’re about to embark on a new build and will finally have a walk in pantry which is a dream come true
I love everything, except the manufacturer stickers on the sconces.
innocent question: should the label on the sconce remain on the fixture? especially of it faces out? (no snark intended!!!) Beautiful space!
What time stamp?
Beautiful!!!
You misspelled 'protein bars' on the label :D great video tho!
Here I was shocked at the fact there was a kitchen in the kitchen! Now I get it. It was a distraction technique for keeping the majority of us from noticing the flaw. I admire your keen eye! 😁
Your pantry is better than my main kitchen and the house that the kitchen is part of….
I like everything you do.
So talented!
It is stunning! What are the black bowls and plates? I love them.
Amazing! You are fabulous. I'm Brazilian and folow you a many many time. Good lucky..🙏😘
Shea, your home is 😍
Do you use self tanner ?
Woow that kitchen is literally bigger than my whole Kitchen, my Pantry is an IKEA Pax Unit in the living room (the kitchen is a tiny little nook in the living room)
Omg beurytiful
Just for clarification - are the cabinets in the pantry painted Swiss coffee or are the walls Swiss coffee (75%)? I saw in a blog post (I believe) that the cabinets in the pantry were painted creamy white. I love your kitchen and pantry and cabinet colors and I’m trying to incorporate those colors into my new build. Thank you so much!!! 😍❤️
Swiss Coffee is a creamy white paint color.
Sou apaixona pelo seu trabalho 💛💚💙
😍
Love the black baskets with the lids. Any idea where I can find them?
Nice pantry, might consider oven in the pantry but will it get too hot in there? Do you have an air-con in the pantry?
gorgeous!
Thank you!
Just a running 💗💗💗
Lol..your pantry is my kitchen 🤦♀️😃
Fisher & Paykel born in Auckland,
🇳🇿 New Zealand 🤩
Gorgeous😍😍😍
Finally!!!!
We have a second fridge. Debating on putting it in new pantry but worried about from it will take up. Would you make it fit or put it in the laundry room?
Love it
I love the pantry door! Would that be called a sliding door?
It's a pocket door I believe
Who has the time to fill all the canisters ?
Perfect ❤️🌺
I like it.
Even when my kitchen is clean it’s never McGee clean. The kitchen looks so light and airy. I hope to replicate the look on a extreme budget. I will only have a four burner stove. I hope I can survive.
Good luck! Don’t forget to cut yourself some slack! No one’s house looks like this in real life. They have like 2 or 3 kids, I highly doubt everything is this pristine and organized even half of the time. :)
Are those canisters with the bamboo lid your McGee line? Or where are they from? *Im about to do a kitchen renovation with open shelves.*
They are shared in the pantry reveal on the blog! Follow the link in the description to get there! ❤️
Your pantry is bigger than my kitchen
They didnt eat? An ordinary home have much more food like tins Jars etc etc. It look like a fake pantry. It just another kitchen. Please show a real pantry no one for a video! Its beauty offcourse but no real
It looks like a second kitchen :-)
