​@@ev741 do you mind some unsolicited advice lol? I went to one of these ivies and graduated couple years back. take it lightly, especially your first year. Some people have had a tough time at Cornell - dont be hard on yourself, you're there to grow not to prove your worth. And if you ever question yourself, remember you're there to do exactly that so embrace that proces! Leave behind preconceptions of yourself from high-school (especially anything that makes you unassertive OR overzealous), this is a new chapter. Pursue coursework that you really enjoy. Pursue excellence, not results, it will serve you well! Importantly, have a good time and push some boundaries (college is a safe space). Make good friends but don't rush into friendships! Finally, make it your own - this is just some stuff I'd tell myself when i was starting :)
