According to the YT vid, that'd mostly be an early-mid 2018 grind, so good guess with 2017. It was nuts then, and it's still nuts now thanks to the different engine.
The no ghosting thing reminds me how much more advanced of a player you are than these other spam speed clone players. Makes sense you never see them play this game. They won’t enjoy it. It’ll just make them feel like they’re bad at the game, which they probably are in terms of accuracy, which matters a lot more than just ghosting notes

they'd only count as ghost inputs if they occurred between two notes -- those two inputs fell entirely within the duration of an input on a higher fret
