Why tho? You forget that's the suspension of disbelief in this universe. That's why in both the sub and dub, the girls arent perpetually harrassed out of uniform, they are disguised and protected by whatever moon magicks/powers are at play to conceal their identities and safeguard their agenda. Otherwise anyone, any simpleton could see that all have the same face, same hair, same voice, same everything as these heroes we see in our media vis a vis Superman/Clark Kent. There are other reasons to bash/make fun of this dub, this ain't it.
the dialog at 2:08 to 2:13 just about makes me fall over laughing. Not just because of their surprised reactions, but also because of that final quip by Sailor Mars :P

Okay so, true story. I was 9 when I first saw this episode on the Morning cartoons before school. It SHOOK me to my core and I was a blubbering mess, I tried every 'sick trick' in the book to try and stay home but mum was having none of it. I cried from 8am until about just after lunch time at school (around 2pm). This is my strongest memory of my childhood. EDIT: Even before this episode I still knew Sailor Moon would end up being the lost Moon Princess and I was SO effing proud of my detective skills. -.-

The music in this screen reminds me of of "my only love" . People think it's weird that I have only had feelings for one girl. But I just can't get over her even though I haven't seen her in over 20 years. We were "driven far apart" when her parents moved away. And I do wish "in my arms she would stay" but for me it won't come true. So as much as I love this song it is a very painful reminder that I didn't understand my feelings for her sooner. And that I was too shy to tell her when realised how I felt...before she was gone. I still wonder if she knew though.... she could almost read my mind. Which only made her feel like she was an angel even more. No one has ever been so kind, gentle and understanding to me as she was. I guess that is why I just don't have feelings for anyone else.

As much as I watched this as a kid (I memorized this particular episode), it's now so weird to hear Zoisite as a woman!
Well, they weren't prepared to deal with Zocite and Kunzite being two gay male lovers, so he became a she for the american audience.
