These are the times that I just wish I didn't have ADHD and arthritis. I love guitar soooo much, I've been playing for almost 2 years. I still can't even do a single scale. This man is so fortunate to have this talent/ability/drive to get better. I praise him for it.

Smoke crack and play
Been playing for more than 7 years with no improvement just because my left hand is forever shaking from a past accident .. I'm thankful I can more or less do easy riffs and fingerstyle with medium difficulty for minutes before straining my fingers
Try jin shin jytshu hand healing.. powerful if done regularly and combined it with long ohmmm chants.. i also had this attention span thing.. but with regular 15 min practice before sleep.. i am going good with guitar these days.. deeper concentration i have now.. try it.. its very easy..
I've had to learn to play differently after 35 yrs of playing, so I break chords in parts and squeeze them into the same measures, it's harder but doable and that's what matters.

I hear you bro, I think it’s the way the cadences fall, the melody is always seeking to resolve itself to the 3rd note of each cord, making it very predictable yet very pleasing and familiar.

I've been playing for 3 years now, and after learning a lot I've realized it NEVER gets easier. It's a constant struggle, and i never stay in a comfortable spot because you stop improving.
There are so many techniques rhythms, chords and scales to learn and practice.
I spend the last few months learning all minor and major scale modes.
Now I'm sitting here and even though that's a pretty significant and important thing to know, compared to a genius like the dude in the video, I've made basically no progress.
Learning a different style song feels like learning a new language. I suck major ass.

Honestly Lucas. I love every video you make, I’m super thankful for everything you do, I aspire to be as good as you are.
I have been playing guitar for over 15 years and I just recently got back in to playing, part of that reason was because I started hearing classical guitar again by chance on CZcams music and then your page came up and started even more of a fire in me to keep playing. So in other words thank you very much for helping me during the worst time of my life with everything going on!
First time I saw this I thought I was pretty good at the guitar and was disappointed to see I was only at level 7, and amazed to see how far someone could go. Happy to say you inspired me to improve, and I got out of a rut I'd been in for a while- I'm finally a level 9 and getting closer every day to a level 10. Thanks for all the inspiration man, you're awesome.

I thought the same thing two weeks ago and now I’m ripping Autumn leaves with walking bass. Lucas has some useful tabs on his patreon. Just start slow with anything and practice every day. It’s all muscle memory.

As a fingerstyle player myself, I completely agree, save for the arpeggios from hell. Then again, I feel like past level 6/7, the rendition is no longer really true to the song. I consider level 9 to be the same as 5/6 plus singing.
