  • National AIDS and STD Control Programme - Phase-V (2021-2026):
NACP phase V is evidence driven. Phase V has ambitious agenda to achieve 80% reduction
in new infections and AIDS related deaths. It aims to concentrate on dual elimination of HIV
and syphilis and target interruption of vertical transmission from mother to child.
“Break the silos and bring synergy” is the program’s new feature. Program addresses the
principle of integrated beneficiary centric services and tailored to target population and
    high priority geographic location.
This phase V will be a landmark phase to achieve ending AIDS epidemic as a public health
