When Tati mentioned the price doesn’t make a product better or worse made me think of something. Rachhloves did a video like this, where she had her husband cover the brand of makeup and she tried it out to see if she could guess if it was high end or not. I think it would be fun if James was able to go into your new PR, before you open it, and take a bunch of products for you to test, but blackout the brands. A 100% unbiased opinion plus a fun game to see if you can tell which product lives up to its price tag (whether it’s high or low).
Not sure if anyone else has made a video like this, but just popped into my head!

Ben Nye or Graftobian black cake eyeliners with some Liquiset.
Cheap, professional, smudge and waterproof to any and all reasonable degrees, it can be used dry to replicate kohl/pencil, DEEEEP MATTE BLACK, smooth, sanitary, can be used any way you need as it is applied with a brush, and lasts forever.
As a makeup artist,

Am I the only one who found this video confusing? I saw a lot of swatches...I liked this, I didn’t like this... but at the end of the video all I could remember was the calligraphy pen thing. first of all thank you for your honesty. I was in the market recently looking for a good liner and like you i have tried and tried liners only to have them smear, bleed, flake and me being upset. I also have it gather in my eyes too. I hate the flaky ones too. wow. This video is right on time. Actually this weekend i was going to take a look around sephora, they just opened in my neighborhood and I am so hyped. And to have you on my recommended was great. Combo/oily. I do my makeup in the morning and almost an hour later I look like a grease pit. Around my nose is the worst. I just keep putting powder on throughout the day.

Andrea Mialkowski I would suggest Estee Lauder double wear. I’ve been using that for over 25 years. My skin has changed its more dry than oily but I still get that oily T slick zone. 😑
But in all seriousness. It’s a foundation that will last on my nose. I will get so oily in the T zone my nose would melt off makeup.
I’m a fair girl and I use bone. The lightest shade. It’s found at ulta Sephora and of course Estée Lauder.
Hands down that’s my holy grail all day wear. You can sheer it down, to a good natural matte finish or a full coverage I’m going out and feeling myself, glamour makeup days.
I don’t even need a mattifying primer under it. I simply use my regular spf.

Andrea Mialkowski the Double wear can be used to a really light application. The double wear light is good too, if you like a more satin finish. But the best for oily skin is the double wear.

Love this Tati. Like another viewer said, not a consistent eyeliner wearer because I'm always frustrated by not being able to find ones that don't smudge, but you've done it! I know now which ones to trust. I'd love to see this type of video because I'm in search of the perfect mascara for the lower lashes. I ALWAYS get smudging or flaking with ones I've tried.
